Healthier Minds Across the Lifespan Mental Health Colorado is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to pass laws, change practices, and build a movement-to create healthier minds across the lifespan for all Coloradans. We develop brains and behaviors at a rapid pace, not fully maturing until as late as our mid-20s.

Preventative care and healthy learning environments are central to ensuring healthy minds and bright futures. Strong, healthy families are vitally important to strong, healthy individuals. Education, childcare, stable housing, meaningful employment, and access to health care are all essential to family well being.
Services
Mental Health Colorado advocates for every Coloradan who experiences a mental health or substance use condition each year. We engage policymakers, providers, the public, and the press to promote mental well-being, ensure equitable access to mental health and substance use care, and end discrimination.
The Experts by Experience Advisory Committee informs and provides feedback on Mental Health Colorado's policy work. It ensures that Mental Health Colorado continues to support policies through the lens of people with lived experience and remains a representative consumer advocacy organization.

The advisory committee is not currently accepting new members but if you would like to learn more, please email Lauren Snyder at LSnyder@mentalhealthcolorado.org.

The Brain Wave is Mental Health Colorado's statewide network of advocates. With nearly 1,000 members across the state, our Brain Wave plays an essential role in promoting greater mental health across the lifespan for all Coloradans. Brain Wave members help illustrate the barriers to care that Coloradans face by sharing lived experience with lawmakers, the media, and community partners.
This past year affected our health in ways many of us never could have imagined. It made us realize just how important mental health is in our daily lives. During our 39th annual Tribute Gala, we gathered virtually to reflect on this last year and looked to the future with confidence and optimism. All registrants (up until the prize drawing) will be entered to win 2 Annual National Parks Passes!.
