We have instituted strict infection control prior to the pandemic and have doubled our efforts through this time. The doctors and clinical staff are gowned and wear N95 masks under level 3 surgical mask. Air purifiers are in each room. In between patients' rooms are sprayed down twice and then fogged with antiseptic.
We are seeing limited patient schedules to allow ample time between patients so no paths will cross, eliminating contact. Patients are screened twice prior to entering and temperatures taken. They are also instructed to rinse with an antiviral and antimicrobial rinse prior to treatments. Treatments are limited to those producing no or low aerosols and we, as always, use a dental dam when possible.
