Cakes by Ilse makes custom cakes for customers in the Seattle area / Pacific Northwest. We are proud to tell Cakes by Ilse has successfully passed the Washington State cottage food law inspection and is now an official cottage food kitchen Sept. At Cakes by Ilse we use different skills and techniques to make magical, beautiful cakes. We can make anything, from piped decorations and flowers, fondant sugar art to sugar / gum paste flowers.

Over the last few years Ilse made custom cakes in the Netherlands and in Seattle area, (WA). Cakes by Ilse is always looking for the best recipes and ingredients to serve the customer the best. She tries to work with local and organic ingredients. She also uses European brands (fondant, chocolate, food colors).

We requested a vegan cake but it had dairy in it. They assured us it was vegan except for the ingredient with dairy in it. Make of that what you will.

Ilse made an amazing birthday party cake! It was not only beautiful, but also incredibly delicious! Moist and flavorful, without being too overly sweet. We've already booked her to make two additional cakes for us in the upcoming weeks! Go with Ilse, you won't regret it!

Ilse was wonderful! She made a surprise graduation cake for my friend. She was able to change the game plan to dairy free when I found out my friend had to make a dietary change. It was delicious and instagrammable for sure.

Living 3,000 miles away I was so fortunate to find Cakes by Ilse to create the perfect cake for a virtual “Sip & See” Baby Shower in Duvall.
She gave her personal attention to every detail of my specific requests & delivered a beautifully decorated drip cake with an incredibly decadent lemon/orange inside.
The cake impressed virtual attendees from across the country in NC, MN, TX & personally enjoyed by baby Leila’s parents in WA.
