The Keyport Yacht Club is located in historic Keyport, New Jersey on the southwest shore of the Raritan Bay. Founded in 1908, we have been providing a superior boating experience and wonderful club amenities for over 100 years. We welcome visiting yacht club members and guests to experience the relaxing, friendly atmosphere of the Club and enjoy the beautiful views of Raritan Bay and, in the distance beyond, the New York City skyline.
We offer full member, provisional, and young (under age 35) membership plans. Members enjoy social activities throughout the year, an active race program from May through September, and reciprocal privileges at many yacht clubs in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. Our Club Boats Sailing Program offers experienced members the opportunity to sail club owned day sailors.

I had an outstanding experience as a student at KYC's ASA 101 sailing class recently. I went in as an aspirational sailer knowing practically nothing about operating a sailboat, the parts of a sailboat, and sailing/navigation terminology but came out with a foundation I didn't think was possible in just two days of instruction. It's about 50% classroom (outside due to covid, but on a second-story deck overlooking beautiful bay scenery) and 50% on the water in a 25-foot keelboat.
The instructor, Primo, was awesome. He kept the classroom portion fun and engaging, throwing in a lot of great historical
