Liquid Art Winery was founded in 2014 by Kansas natives Dave & Danielle Tegtmeier. It is comprised of a 20-acre Estate vineyard, tasting room, full-production winery, and event center. The Estate is perched on top of fractured limestone and flint covered hillsides, in an area that was once an ancient mountain range.
The terroir of the area replicates the soil profile and terrain of some of the most prominent grape-growing regions in the world, allowing us to craft premium wines from old-world grape varietals using sustainable viticulture. Liquid Art Winery also produces Dave & Dani Craft Cider. In the Tasting Room, there are seasonal ciders in frequent rotation on the Test Taps.

Services
Liquid Art Winery & Estate is a family-owned vineyard and wedding venue tucked away off Wildcat Creek Road just over a mile west of Manhattan. Perched on top of a hill with 360-degree views of vineyards sweeping the sides of the surrounding Flint Hills, our venue offers three distinctly picturesque locations to say "I Do."
Liquid Art is absolutely amazing. It is hands down the best wedding venue in the area! Not only was our wedding perfect, but so was the entire planning process. It would have been more stressful if I didn't have Danielle to help me, which she was so willing to do! She is such a great person and we're so grateful for her.
Approximately 30 days prior to your wedding, when your RSVPs have been submitted, we will provide you with a virtual rendering tailored to your layout needs. Below are examples of our venue space and how a virtual rendering can help you communicate efficiently with your vendors and plan for decor and linens.
Dave shared his story of being blind publicly for the first time, unveiled the new labels, and poured the four new wines with a guided tasting. Dave and Dani have created a partnership with Envision, a non-profit in Wichita, Kansas. They were present at the Release Party, to share their mission: to create meaningful paths to independence for people who are blind or visually impaired.
With her trusty kitty, CousCous, always in tow-- this little lady helps with all the chores and hand gathers the eggs. During warmer seasons, you'll see the chickens in the vineyard with their mobile "Hen Den". This is an organic way to control pests and fertilize the vineyard. Her laying hens are happy and healthy-- laying enough eggs that she can share her hand gathered, farm fresh, pasture raised eggs with our guests.

We recently had our wedding reception here in August 2021, and our experience was perfect! Danielle was so helpful throughout the entire planning process! Her team is full of friendly and knowledgeable staff as well! Of course, the scenery is absolutely beautiful as well. There are so many places to take pictures on the property- I know our photographer absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone for any wedding or event!

What an amazing experience. Lindsey was gracious and answered all of our questions. The view is phenomenal. The food is delicious. And the wine...we bought a flight of four, each with disparate tastes, and still so many more to explore. We are looking forward to returning.

Liquid Art Winery & Estate was the perfect site for our engagement and wedding. Our original wedding date was disrupted by the pandemic back in May 2020, and Danielle graciously allowed us to use the property for a small ceremony that day and worked with us to schedule a 2021 party date. Both days were absolutely perfect and we are forever thankful for how easy LAWE made it for us.
The views on the property are incredible, the facilities are spacious and clean, the wine and cider are tasty, and the staff is friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. I would love to relive our wedding

To start this review off, I am from the Central Coast of California and know my way around wines, as I was raised in the heart of wine country! I have attended a wedding at this venue (gorgeous—your wedding needs to be here), as well as several hosted events, and I often bring my visitors and family for wine and cider tastings. Dave and Dani have the most resplendent view in all of the Flint Hills, and their employees provide customer service that compliments the views (and the wines). You simply cannot go wrong with their Seyval Blanc and their Cherry Limeade cider (WOW!). I was highly impressed

Liquid Art Winery is a beautiful, precious winery that elevates the MHK charm. The wine is unique and the hard cider is so delicious... we went home with quite a few cases! The seasonal offerings are particularly yummy. Better than the drinks, though, is the entrepreneurial story behind how Liquid Art came to be. Dave & Dani poured so much love into this sweet business and it’s special to experience that lived out every visit, whether it be through the atmosphere or the genuine service. Love this little gem!

It would have been more stressful if I didn't have Danielle to help me, which she was so willing to do! She is such a great person and we're so grateful for her. Liquid Art was worth every penny. The views are breathtaking being in the Flint Hills (we had our ceremony in the Vineyard Knoll), the reception hall is wonderful with so much natural light, and the bride and groom rooms were perfect. The wines and ciders are fantastic as well
