We are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentist's office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
Services
Here at the practice of Michael LaCorte DDS PC, we are proud to offer sedation to give our patients a stress-free visit. One of the most commonly used types of sedation is nitrous oxide, which is also known as laughing gas. This helps many children relax during their procedure. Nitrous oxide is so commonly used that even the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recognizes it as an effective way to treat children.
Fluoride has been called one of the ten greatest public health achievements in the 20th century by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With the introduction of community water fluoridation, fluoride was accredited with reducing caries by up to 70%. Although some toothpastes did contain fluoride, it did not become a part of everyone's daily routine until 1956, when Crest began marketing their brand with Look, mom!
The earlier we catch problems with your child's bite, the simpler they are to fix. The results are often better than if we wait and require less work. We may not need to keep braces on your child for as long when they are younger, which means less expense for you.
The American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) recommends that children visit an orthodontist as soon as their dentist notices that there might be a problem or before they are seven years old.We may not have to do anything at this age, other than monitor the child's mouth. However, if we continue to watch your child, we can start treatment right away!

Here at the practice of Michael LaCorte DDS PC, we are proud to offer dental restorations to help protect and restore children's teeth so that they can speak and eat easily as well as have a wonderful smile. We can also fix missing teeth and have many options for how we do so. Typically, we like to place implants, which will act like the tooth's replacement root.
Dr. Michael LaCorte is a Board Certified Pediatric Dental Specialist who is dedicated to the oral health of all children from infancy through adulthood. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. LaCorte is trained to provide oral health care to patients of all ages with special needs, from mild emotional needs to significant medical challenges.

This dentist office is the worst! This is a terrible place to take your family to. The receptionist is VERY rude she will put you on multiple holds without you agreeing to hold and then comes back on the line and treats me like trash and says we are referring you out. My kids have been patients here for quite some time so I was Absurd as to why they would treat me this way when I called to schedule an appointment for my son. So then I request to speak with the dr however they would not let that happen so I spoke with the office manager and She then told me that my son was no longer a patient at

Best pediatric dentist ever! I live a couple hours away but the drive is well worth it. The front desk staff girls are very friendly and easy to work with. They do an amazing job of keeping scared kids calm and happy. Dr. LaCorte did an amazing job on his teeth and I seriously couldn't be any happier. This will always being my go to dentist for all of my children. Definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a new pediatric dentist.

Dr Lacorte and his staff are amazing!! The front office staff were all very professional and friendly from check in to check out. The dental assistants were all very professional as well and made my children feel at home and took their anxiety away which is a big one for me. Their demeanor and approach to my children was soo authentic and real that my kiddos felt it, and it meant soo much to me. Dr Lacorte is very professional and you can feel the authenticity and caring vibe from him. I will not take my kids anywhere else!! Dr. Lacortes is the place to be for your children!!

This is the BEST Pediatric dental office!!! Staff is very friendly and they do a great job calming down anxious and scared patients. Dr. LaCorte explains to patients and parents step by step what he is doing and what each tool is used for in kids lingo. Kids even get to watch their favorite cartoon on TV in every room!! I highly recommend this place to my friends and family and really love how child-oriented this place is. Thanks for the high standard of care!

In February 2020, my daughter was referred here by her general dentist to have a couple of root canals. after returning to her general dentist they found some cloudy infected area to have re-evaluated. We went back to Dr. LaCorte's office and he said the area was fine, so we once again went back to her general dentist to make an appointment for the buildups and crowns, however, the office ended up closing due to COVID-19. So I attempted to make an appointment at LaCorte's with the office manager, I believe her name is Dani, or similar, and she very rudely told me we are not welcome back because

My kids have been going here since they've began to see a dentist. The staff is always kind and friendly. We have never had an issue. Dr LaCorte always jokes with the kids. All the ladies is the back remember the kids too. Angela Martinez has always been beyond helpful with everything, always makes sure my kids are all seen together so we dont have to make multiple trips. My kids feel comfortable and relax with every visit they have been to. Definitely would recommend this office to others

Our pediatrician recommended Dr. LaCorte after we had some concerns about IV sedation in a office setting. Our three year old needed extensive work. Dr. LaCorte put us at ease. He has privelages at Banner and expedited the procedure. When our older son needed work as well, Dr. Lacorte provided a dedicated anesthesiologist for the procedure. I've never met a more caring, kind, and professional dentist. Him and his staff are simply amazing. We were so lucky to have found him. Thank you.

Dr. LaCorte was my children's dentist for years. One just turned 18 years old and LaCorte saw him while he was in the lower primary grades, that will give you a gage in years of service or loyalty we or at least I thought we mutually shared with each other. I recently found out that to Dr. LaCorte my children are only seen as dull pennies and not the shiny gold coins that I as a parent and I know all other parents see each and every one of their children.
I feel the need to let everyone know of my experience with the office because if I don't it will be a huge injustice to those who

I am really disappointed with this dentist. We have been going here for 3 years with two of our kids. Usually Dr La Corte says everything is ok. Then the last visit our youngest had 3 cavities. All were filled. Our oldest got sealant for the molars in July. Now it looks like she got a cavity back there. How can she get a cavity so quickly when sealants were applied 2 months before. He does not examine the teeth. Even the 3 cavities by my youngest were discovered by my wife and we told him about them. Now we will have to tell him about this next cavity. Best to take your kids elsewhere

My child had been a patient of Dr. Michael La Corte"s for 14 years starting at the age of 3. She is now 19. Dr. La Corte put braces on my daughters upper teeth to correct a small overlap of her two front teeth when she was in eighth grade. Five years later we decided to take her to a different dentist because she was older now. We found out she had a severe upper cross-bite. Her upper teeth had been widened to the point where the upper teeth did not touch the bottom teeth on the left side. We were made aware by her new dentist that this was functionally necessary it be corrected. She&apos

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!
My child has gone here for years and we have problems every time. The last time I told the assistant to NOT give my child fluoride and she actually put it on without my knowledge. Also if your child needs surgery you are NOT allowed in the room. The office seems nice but I as a parent have no idea what the staff and Dentist might do.
My child has only like being there because of one assistant that is no longer there. The actually Dentist my child is scared of. From one parent to another I warn you to never take your child here.

We've been going to Dr. LaCorte for over 6 years. When our son was little he refused to be examined in the dental chair, so he was examined standing in the corner as he wanted. One time Dr. LaCorte was putting on blue exam gloves and my son said, "I want him to wear purple gloves," so Dr. LaCorte put on purple gloves. As our son aged he was willing to sit in the exam chair, but only if he could sit on my lap. So, his exams, fillings, cleanings have all been done sitting in my lap.
Neither of our kids have any fears of going to the dentist. Our daughter has had cavities in her front

Don't let Dr. LaCorte start your children in braces too soon. He recommended our daughter start and after pulling teeth she was left with a total of 8 teeth on the bottom and 6 teeth on top. With a large gap between the front teeth and the molar in the back on each side the wire would not stay on. When my wife started asking questions Dr. LaCorte became angry and defensive. Two other orthodontists confirmed our fears so we canceled service with Dr. LaCorte after two scheduled appointments and did not receive a refund on $1,900 paid ($800 up front, $200 for two months and they hit our insurance
