When Van-Walker started it was just two guys with an idea and a desire to create quality product. Louis Van Meers and Rick Walker are the founders of Van-Walker Woodworking, they started the company back in 1982. Mr. Van Meers ("Van") had been affiliated with the cabinet making industry for over 50 years. Leaving Mizell Lumber Company in Kensington, Maryland, after 25 years of service to start his own company.
