There are 73 vacation rental homes in the Island Club on Put in Bay Ohio. Most of the homes have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and sleep up to 8 people, a few are larger 3 bedrooms with accommodations up to 10 people, and 3 homes are very large 4 bedroom 2 bath homes that sleep up to 12 people. We were in unit#55. Has all the basic amenities, utensils etc. (no dishwasher) reserved the unit through Airbnb so comforters and bath towels were provided. Has ample space to park two cars. Grill on deck. Excellent internet speeds, we were a party of 5 and had no issues during work. Rented a 6 seater golf cart for the weekend through Island club rentals and they were generous enough to deliver and pick up the cart from the unit. Downtown has limited parking space. Please notice that they do not have any office on the island but response through phone during business hours is quick. Follow the

This may come across as a bit harsh, but its an honest review. We recently returned from a 3 night stay in Poolview Condo #3. There were four of us, two couples. Despite the condo rules stating that all dishes must be washed and returned to their rightful places we found that 90% of the dishes we pulled out of the cabinet was was dirty and needed to be pre-washed before we could use them. The appliances were clean and worked great. Unfortunately the beds are worn out spring beds so if you are looking for a firmer more supportive mattress look elsewhere. The four bedroom house was spacious with sleeping for twelve people. The central air conditioning was broken and there was only a small window air conditioning unit to cool the four bedroom, two bathroom house. Good thing some of us brought fans. The house was just okay with deduction for lousy see-through blinds that gave no privacy at night when the lights were on. The whole neighborhood could see inside our house (unit #4). I found it insulting that we were instructed to run the vacuum and wipe everything down when my bedroom furniture had leftover rings from someone else’s drinks. We paid

While Island Club does say that any maintenance issues should be reported so they can be rectified, the problems with this unit are far too big for a quick maintenance call. For example:
1) Nearly every wall hanging was removed and stuffed into the master BR closet. I can only imagine the unit was being prepped for painting, but should not have been rented in this condition. The walls are dirty, full of small holes, and in bad need of general repair. A fist-sized hole in the master BR partially covered by a small plaque was a nice touch.
2) The central A/C in this unit does not

BEWARE. Stayed at Island Club with family for father's day weekend. Unit #62. The unit appeared clean but kitchen was not well equipped. No dish rags or dish towells provided. But my biggest complaint was that I got 16 bug bites while sleeping. Can't say for sure if they were from bed bugs, but that's my guess. Mattress was black , convenient for hiding any bug residue. I won't stay there again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Stayed at the Island Club earlier this year in unit 72 and loved it! The unit came fully furnished. We spent our days cooking out on the deck and our evenings downtown checking out the local restaurants and bars.
The location is perfect just far enough from all the action but still far enough away for some peace and quiet.
I also liked that the Island Club offers golf carts, it made getting around a lot easier.
