Brent Droege started Agape Lawn Company in February of 2009, while an accounting student at NC State. The company was originally started out of Agape Corner Board School, and it was originally started to employ youth, and help them with job training, income, financial education, and networking.
The company employed mostly teenagers for two years, and it was successful and helping youth learn some basic job skills, and teach some basic financial management skills.In 2011, the company began to grow rapidly and to date, Agape employs over 80 Triangle workers. Agape Lawn Company and Greenway Irrigation continue to strive for community outreach and maintaining an exceptional workplace.

Agape Lawn and Landscape installed our drainage and sod installation. Our yard has never looked this good! Working with Michael Hoy to get this installation underway was a delightful experience. EJ and Juan did the install. EJ and Juan were very conscientious with every detail. My wife and I are very happy and are looking forward to sharing with others about Agape’s services.

On June 28th Sam came to my residence to perform an assessment. He provided a quote the very next day and the team came to perform the job promptly and professionally. They did a wonderful job cleaning out my flower beds, applying new mulch and planting new bushes. I also received a follow up call to ensure everything met my expectations. The service and professionalism was grade-A!

We recently hired Agape to construct a small stone wall around some flower beds. The workers did a great job; professional, courteous etc. The project manager, however, was a disaster. Mid-way into the project, it was apparent that the Agape PM didn't measure the project correctly. The workers gladly made the adjustment. Unfortunately for the project manager -- who didn't appear at our house until the project was almost done -- he neglected to speak to us or his workers about the adjustment. At the end of the project, Agape wanted to bill us double for the project -- which was ludicrous

We hired Agape to help re-image our home's landscaping. Specifically, we had them dig and edge 3 tree and 5 plant beds, plant 23 shrubs/flowers, install river rock for drainage purposes and refresh our mulch. Juan and Jose came out to complete the project and worked tirelessly from 9:00a - 7:00p in 80 degree heat. Both Juan and Jose were extremely professional, knowledgeable, customer-focused, friendly and diligent. It was obvious they take great pride in their work as they would often spend time making sure the little items were as perfect as possible. They would even consult me to ensure everything

Disappointed. The first year was awesome. Our property looked great and was well maintained. Second year was a disaster. Agape provided sloppy, inconsistent and inexperienced landscape care (see pics) - examples included missed services for more than 4 months, spraying weed killer on perennial flower beds (and dog toys) and killing all of the bee balm that was planted, beautiful large rose gardens that were never cared for (most of which eventually fell over and died). This was not the service of a company that advertises that they "take care of your entire property."

Contracted with Agape to install 5600 square feet of sod; specifically requested low-maintenance zoysia and had multiple, detailed discussions with them about it; they said they'd install a species that would only have to be mowed 2-3 times year, which would have been perfect! Instead, they installed sod that has to be mowed weekly!! Brent, the owner, won't talk to us about it, refused to make a site visit, and just dismissed our complaints.

We originally hired Agape to build a patio with a fire pit in our back yard, and they did such an amazing job we also hired them to put in some decorative landscaping and take on our monthly yard maintenance. We were impressed right from the start with their knowledge and honesty in talking through our vision, and the end results were amazing. Everyone we've dealt with at Agape (from the office to the crews) has been friendly, quick to respond, and extremely professional. I recommended them without hesitation to anyone looking for landscape design, stonework, or regular yard and lawn care!!

Requested they come out to do some repair work. We agreed on a date/time (which they emailed and confirmed) and an hourly rate, and they never showed. Never replied to follow-up email asking them about it. In fairness, this was just before a hurricane was coming through the area, so I was assuming they'd want to reschedule. But I simply never heard from them again after that. Guess they didn't want my money. But with that level of unprofessionalism, I'll find someone else to do the work.

Will and the rest of the crew did an amazing job on my small backyard. We were looking to make more usable patio space from an area in our lawn where grass was never growing. They came by, provided great design ideas and suggestions and worked very hard to get everything completed in one week!
They even installed some french drains under the patio to help with the water drainage which wasn't even in the original quote!
I would definitely recommend these guys for any future landscaping needs.

Michael, from Agape, reached out to me. I was surprised due to lack of response 5 months ago from Kyle. Another company had already installed the irritation system and completed the paver work.I had a good feeling about Michael and decided to give Agape a chance to earn my business since a large number of customers are very pleased with their work. We have used Agape several times before to mulch and weed our beds. They were great - very professional and did quality work. It was sometimes hard to get a hold of them because they were busy and we were happy for them as they were getting bigger and did a good job.
We used them originally in 2010 for weeding the beds and mulching. In 2011, they quoted us the same cost for the same work, although we did not use them. When we used them in spring of 2014 the cost had increased substantially did not seem unreasonable.
