Honeymoon Cafe has been serving Pismo Beach for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on offering healthy and wholesome options made fresh with local ingredients. We change our menu with the seasonal produce at the farmers markets and cater to dietary preferences, offering vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten-free and meat filled items. Our team is taking extra safety precautions by wearing face masks, gloves, and sanitizing the shop thoroughly and regularly.

We came to SF on our honeymoon this weekend. The weather was beautiful. We visited the aquarium of the Bay and stopped by eagle cafe for breakfast. As soon as we walked in the door ,we were approached by a friendly employee with a nice smile . We were not expecting the counter service restaurant and assumed that there wasn’t gonna be any good service, we were wrong . We got seated outdoor with a gorgeous view , shared a bottle of champagne and had banana pecan French toast and huevos rancheros with chorizo . Food was delicious, Lily was amazing , and very friendly to talk to . She is enthusiastic

5 stars all around for this cute place! The lady at the register was super friendly and bubbly, which is Al ways a plus at 730am.
We got the lox toast and avocado toast. Both of these had great flavors and were topped with arugula. On the avocado toast, I love that they added turmeric to it. The lox, there was A LOT of cream cheese so if you don't want too much, I'd mention to go easy on it.
I love the outdoor patio; indoor seating was limited. Also, if you order coffee, they have refills for 50 cents.

Friendly staff and thought it was a cute place to stop by for breakfast until I ate the burrito I overpaid for. I ordered a veggie burrito and added potatoes. I had one bite and was in the trash. All the veggies and beans were uncooked and absolutely no flavor at all. Maybe it was just that item or cook was having an off day but I was the only customer at 7:30am so don't understand why it would be bad. Not from this area but surely will not come back to this place ever again.

This was probably our favorite spot to eat in PB. Casual with a good mix of yummy indulgent and healthy menu items. We had a variety of things on the menu including the avocado toast, various egg dishes and smoothies. Order with confidence; everything here is great! The staff exude charisma and warmth so don't be surprised if you leave here feeling extra special!

Best breakfast place in Pismo!!!! My boyfriend and I LOVE this restaurant. The employees are so nice, the food is SO GOOD every time and so is the coffee!! I recommend the breakfast burritos and I love the lavender latte and the east coast oat latte!!!! If I could rate this place ten stars I would!!

If you want to enjoy a great lunch at a place run by super friendly gals and guys in a place that reminded me of my hippy days and you are anywhere near Pismo Beach then you must stop in to the Honeymoon Cafe. While enjoying a week's vacation along the coast in the area we spotted this place and it had a magnate pull on us to stop in. We enjoyed all the friendly staff and food and drinks and are now looking forward to the next we will be in the area to visit again.

I had high hopes for this cafe. I came in with a group (6 total) on a Saturday, late morning/early afternoon.
We all ordered our food and drinks. Two of our friends ordered a basic breakfast (eggs and bacon) and waffles. We all received our food and my friends did not. We basically finished our food and they were still waiting for theirs. And another group of customers, who came in after us were served their food. They basically forgot to make their food.
After waiting 35 minutes for their food (we had all finished), their food came - AND THERE WAS A HAIR IN THEIR FOOD.
We were disappointed

Such a cute place with great food! A shirt 10-minute walk from hotel and it was very busy but was still able to get a table outside. Went her first brunch and ordered the Chilaquiles with Carnitas...OMG these were so good and flavorful!! Everything tasted very fresh! They also know how to make a good cup of coffee! Decided to go for pure coffee...no fancy coffee drinks and it was very good...just be careful to not burn your tongue! Would definitely recommend this place!

We were thrilled to see many gluten-free options on the menu and ordered the BLAT, which they made with gluten-free toast instead of the pita. All the ingredients were so fresh! The arugula and avocado were very flavorful. The bacon was grilled to perfect crunchiness and not oily. We will definitely return!!

Always happy to stop in at this place, favorite spot in the area for breakfast! Real and healthy ingredients, and you can taste the love, seriously. Awesome friendly staff every time I go no matter the face. Plus having vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options is always nice! Nothing but great vibes here

Healthy YUMMY gooood food.
The tropical smoothie with spiralina topped with coconut was amazing. My favorite was the Alpaca-bowl, but the breakfast quesadilla with a spinach tortilla was a close second. The thai tacos with tofu and sunrise tacos are also super bomb choices, but I will say I wish the Thai tacos were a bit more flavorful. Top it off with a strawberry orange mimosa and you're settttt.
Didn't get it, but next time I'm cominnnn for you golden latte!!!!

Delicious food, with plenty of options for people with diverse tastes or restrictive dietary limitations. I had the buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup, eggs over medium, and bacon. For my drink, I had an East Coast oat latte.
The bacon was thick cut and cooked firm but not overly crispy. Eggs were slightly over what I prefer but still with plenty of liquid yolk, the pancakes were flavorful and filling. I've never had buckwheat before. Yum!
The pinnacle of my breakfast was that latte. $6.20 after tax makes it pricey, but hoo boy. Worth it! A plant milk (or mylk, as they called it) based

When Honeymoon Cafe gets your order right, this is a good place to grab brunch, smoothies, and coffee. Today, they got it right (this Ca be hit or Miss, based on past experiences). Service was friendly and fairly quick today.
We ordered the avocado toast, Fall Harvest salad, and Romesco Chicken sandwich. For drinks we got a Morning Glory smoothie and TLC smoothie. Everything was prepared well and presented nicely. We enjoyed the dishes and smoothies. Honeymoon has a pretty large patio for outdoor dining also.

I would definitely consider going to Honeymoon Cafe for my honeymoon. People there seem to be happy. I heard that SLO is one of the happiest places. I didn't really believe that for a while. I assumed that people in SLO were more concerned about being perceived as happy than actually being happy. So whenever they would take a happiness test, they would check all the happy boxes. Beachside bohemian vibes at this cafe with an outstanding menu. The menu is an eclectic mix of traditional breakfast fare and healthy but filling grain bowls and everything in-between. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the breakfast potatoes were excellent. The staff were amazing and made my family feel as if we were visiting family. Indoor and outdoor dining was available. 10/10 would absolutely go again!!

My sons and I had the nicest breakfast at Honeymoon Cafe. The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxed and the employees that we interacted with were very friendly. Both the indoor and outdoor seating options are lovely. My cappuccino with hemp milk was so creamy and delicious and the TLC juice was just the extra kick I needed. My veggie breakfast burrito was likely the yummiest breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! Packed with fresh veggies and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 experience!

Amazing atmosphere, great service, and wonderful food! Menu is clearly labeled with lots of allergen-free options, the staff is super friendly, and everything tasted great! Away from the hustle and bustle of the pier, so a great place to sit and relax to recharge your soul. We will definitely be visiting next time we are in town.

We ordered inside at the counter. There is a big menu. I ordered veggie breakfast tacos but the apple pancakes special also sounded delicious. We ordered a few other breakfast items and orange juice. Our food was served quickly.
The patio is nice and we were able to get free parking right across the street. I loved the bright colors and the plants on the patio.
The restroom is around the side of the building. There was a key for the restroom.

Had the avocado toast and tomato soup. I like the addition of the red pepper on the avocado toast, but overall it wasn't anything that stood out as a "must order again!". The tomato soup, I liked the addition of the tomato skins. I can't tell if it was basil or thyme but it had somewhat of a "Christmas-y" after taste if that makes sense.
Their menu looks like they have a bunch of good options, so I would give it another go next time in town.
