Services
Dr. Khayat grew up near Paris, France and speaks both English and French. He moved to the US in 2001 to further his dental career and become a prosthodontist. He has a particular interest in digital dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and full mouth rehabilitation. When at Boston University, he met his wife, Dr. Becerra.
I began my journey at South Shore Prosthodontics in 2012 as a dental assistant. My chairside experience in both, the restorative and the surgical fields, allowed me to understand a broad range of clinical procedures. Moreover, I developed a strong relationship with all our patients, which I believe is one of the main reason I appreciate my work every day.
Dr. Khayat has a depth of knowledge and a rich skill set that he offers to all his patients. Although primarily a prosthodontist, our caring doctor has years of experience in general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. He merges his advanced training with a passion for people to offer an unparalleled standard of care.
Dr. Becerra was born and raised in Spain and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She received her dental degree in Madrid in 2000 and graduated from her specialty in Periodontology at Boston University in 2004. She has continued to take strides in dentistry ever since. As a board-certified periodontist, she is able to guide our patients toward improved gum health through innovative procedures.
Oral Cancer Screening: This involves first an extra-oral visual and digital examination of the lymph nodes of your head and your neck. During the exam, we are looking for pain, tenderness, and flexibility of the nodes. It is then followed by a visual and digital examination of your lips (inside and out), and your mouth (your palate, the floor of the mouth, the inside surfaces of the cheeks, your tongue, and your gums).
