We are a family orientated chiropractor in Cedar Rapids. At Jenkins Chiropractic, we look at the unique needs and goals of each individual patient, and work with you to help you achieve them. Whether that is quick relief from a recent injury, or ongoing care as part of a wellness lifestyle, we can help.
Extremity adjustments or extremity manipulations are adjustments made to joints beyond the spine. These joints include your wrists, shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles, fingers and toes. Just like with your spinal joints, these joints can become irritated and cause pain and other symptoms. Your extremities rely on proper motion and positioning to work optimally, so they can benefit from regular adjustment just like your spine.
I grew up in small town Nebraska where my father ran a small construction business. Now the majority of the time he was the only employee, although my brother and I started helping in any way we could by the age of 5. Construction is hard work, and takes its toll on the body. I remember some days my father would be in pain and unable to lift his arms above his head.
I am from a southeast Iowa town called Wapello. I am a graduate of Capri college. After doing hair in SE iowa for 8 years, I took a job as a diet coach. During my time at Capri College, I really started to like Cedar Rapids. While working in Wapello, I found myself missing Cedar Rapids and found reasons to visit often.
You can also download, print, and fill them out and bring them to your first appointment. This will save you 15-20 minutes in the office. I have been seeing Linzi and Dr. Jenkins for quite some time now. I have never had a better experience than I have with them. They make the environment so welcoming and cozy! The second I walk into the office Linzi always greets me with the best smile and Dr. Jenkins always makes sure to ask if I am having any new pains. I always feel amazing the second I leave their office. I would recommended these two over and over again! If you aren't seeing them you are definitely missing out!

I started going to Dr. Jenkins during the 2nd trimester of my pregnancy and regretted not going sooner! I strongly believe he helped me have a quick and easy labor and delivery. My body has never felt better! Now, I bring my baby to see him for adjustments! He is so careful and gentle. You can tell how much he truly cares for each patient he see. I highly recommend!!

Dr. Jenkins and Linzi are amazing. I moved to Cedar Rapids almost 4yrs ago and have been worried about finding a new chiropractor. I got into a car accident last year and had been having the worse headaches daily. I finally made an appointment and they got a plan together to get me better. Seeing their smiling faces when I go in really does make my day better!! They are an amazing team!!

While visiting family I found myself with a stiff neck and migraine. I called Jenkins chiropractic. They asked me to come right in. I filled out paperwork and got a exam in under 20 mins. I appreciate how efficient they are. The staff was friendly and Dr.Jenkins gave me fast relief for my migraine. If you are interested in same day appointments start here. He was also more reasonable than my normal small town chiropractor. I highly recommended him

These guys are great! I was injured in a car accident and travel quite a bit for work. Since the accident I have been to 3 different chiropractors and Jenkins takes the cake for best chiropractor I've experienced. Friendly staff, good (and fast) treatment, and easy to work with when it comes to insurance.
