Water is one of the most important things you can put in or on your body, so think of your health as your best investment.
Water heaters should be drained once a year to maintain proper heating as well as extending the life of your water heater. Remember to turn the gas off before draining. If you happen to have something fall into the toilet that should not have try using a wet vac with a towel around the hose to get as much suction as possilbe.
David Jewell is an amazing plumber! Quick, efficient, respectful, and won't rest until he feels he has the job done well and that your home is safe and in perfect working order. Highly highly recommend him. David came over after dinner to check out a leak under my sink. He tightened up the pipe connections and gave me a good price to install a brand new sink when I got ready.

Jewell Plumbing did an outstanding job for me at my home, and helped to resolve a major problem with my Water Heater. David Jewell the Owner was prompt and able to assist me immediately at a critical time before the Thanksgiving Holidays. David has been amazing he came over as soon as I called him to check out a leak. He came back the day after (after some rain) to confirm. Has been incredibly understanding and timely. Is now helping me to find a roofer to come and check out some issues with the roof. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

As much as I dislike plumbing problems, David is a joy to work with. He diagnosed the problem quickly, was able to fix the problem with minimum disruption to household/work-from-home activities, and tested his solution thoroughly. Should also note that he kept his work area clean (he had to cut a hole in the ceiling which is always a mess) and did a thorough cleanup once the active part of the job was complete. Personable. Reasonably priced. I hope I don't have to call him again soon, but he will certainly be the first person I think of next time I have a plumbing issue.
