At Genesis, we find a majority of the mold is found either in the basement or crawlspace of your home or business. After that, the mold seems to work its way up through the space via air conditioning ducts and that can create bigger issues. We always try to locate the moisture source. Remember, mold does not need water to live.
Most types of mold grow rapidly and spread easily from one area to another. Mold can be toxic or allergenic even when it is dead.
The process of mold remediation depends on the amount of mold growth and the types of surfaces on which the mold appears. It can be a clean up with an anti-microbial or anti-fungal treatment to eliminate the mold colonies and new mold colonies from forming. We also use HEPA vacuums to prevent the spread of mold spores while the mold remediation is in progress.

I chose Genesis Home Solutions to waterproof my basement. Mark did a fantastic job explaining what needed to done without trying to sell me on anything extra like others tried. I found his price to be reasonable. The work Mark and his wonderful crew completed seems to be the best solution for my issue. It is too early be completely sure. (I will update this review after sufficient time has passed) I appreciate that Mark kept me aware of what was being done throughout the process. He even followed up with pictures. At this point I would definitely recommend Genesis Home Solutions.

Mark was so generous with his time. He came out to do an initial complimentary inspection for us. We had a roof leak several months back but never did any mold remediation. He inspected our attic and tested for mold growth/maturity and found that everything looked fine, no services needed. He could have quoted us for minor cosmetic work, or quoted us for a job that he said my husband could easily do. Mark is as honest as it gets. I highly recommend him!

Treated my family great when he was doing the work but when they had problems with his work he became very rude. My family still has mold. My family expected a full fledged company but got and older man and a lady. He fought with my family when they wanted to observe the work that was being done. My family would have never used this company had they known it was a small two man business that's not what they were lead to believe. And the owner will come back with and arrogant response because that's his true nature. My family would have loved to worked it out but he was a bully. We

Genesis Home Solutions helped resolve our mold issues and also corrected a drainage problem on the side of our house. We are very happy with their professional services, prompt attention to our problems, and courteous work crew. We may not have been their biggest job, but they treated us as if we were!
