Rachael began her dental hygiene career in 2008 after graduating from St. Petersburg College. As a dental hygienist, her focus is on providing high quality care for each patient. She is dedicated to making each dental visit a comfortable and positive experience. She always strives to gather your dental history, listen to any wants or needs you may have, and to help you plan for a healthy future!
If there is too much decay, or a tooth is cracked or broken, we may use a crown to restore the damaged tooth. A crown covers your tooth entirely, fitting snugly at the gum line to protect the remaining healthy portion of your natural tooth. The crown allows us to preserve the tooth, restoring it to fully functional strength.

As a grown adult I'm the biggest baby when it comes to dentists. I ignored my teeth for too long and asked on Facebook for recommendations for someone who would handle me with kid gloves. Many recommended Dr. Gapstur. I did additional research and decided to give her practice a try.
They did an amazing job being very patient with me. I ended up having quite a bit done over the course of the last two years. Don't ignore your teeth people! It'll come back to haunt you! Glad to say I'm finally almost done except for some upkeep now. They've taken great care of me!

I have been going to this location for many years and always had a wonderful experience with the previous dentist & owner, Dr Johnson. This has all changed with the new Dentist, Dr Gapstur. Every time I have gone since, many services that I had never heard of before were now being recommended, many of which seemed unnecessary. I finally agreed to one of them, which was a custom mouth guard instead of using my store bought one. The experience was awful. Somehow the impression must have been off because the mouth guard was so painful. I had it altered the first time by a Tech to try to fix it, which
