The person at the front desk from Chicago, IL per her name tag, could be a bit less rude and a little more patient. I was delivering for instacart. I was looking down to tell her who I was delivering to. She answered the phone while I wasn't looking without telling or asking me to hold on. When I looked up she had her finger in the air. Once I told her who I was delivering for she told me the gentleman does the deliveries. I attempted to ask a question and she repeated herself before I could. I then asked my question-did I need to write a tag. I could barely get it out before she told me he would

Start off by saying Holbrook is amazing. I have been employed since the beginning and I would not change it for nothing in the world. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you have stepped into your second home. I feel at home every time I walk through the doors. from the staff to the residents everyone is amazing. you will have the best experience from the time you walk in until you leave.

5 stars for my wonderful housekeeper Jacinta Jones. I look forward to her weekly visits since I know my apartment will sparkle when she's done. Jacinta arrives with her cheerful smile and does a great job of cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, changing and washing the sheets and towels, vacuuming, mopping, and taking the trash. Plus she's great to be around. Jacinta is one of the best parts of living here at Holbrook of Decatur.

The facility is super nice well decorated with great style but don’t let the looks fool you. Front of house is a bit rude and unpleasant, the upper the management of Holbrook is very unprofessional - financial management, communication is very unorganized and all over the place.
I do agree I would not recommend memory loss to this facility at all. They are not well equipped and nor have the correct trained staff with correct credentials for the most part. From resident falling and having black out episode the facility do not correctly report the incident on report nor contacting the family.

What an exciting and amazing place to work. The leadership staff is one of the most professional, supportive, and team-oriented groups that I have had the privilege to work beside. The residents are among the most diverse and talented people. The range of professional backgrounds all in one place with the rich life history and stories makes everyday a treat. I absolutely love working with all these wonderful people.
