Life is full of opportunities to show someone we love them. One such opportunity is the funeral or memorial service. Such a loving event celebrates the choices they made, the relationship you shared, and honors the memory of your loved one. At Oakley-Cook Funeral Home, we have tremendous respect and appreciation for our community of hospice caregivers.
It's important to take the time to acknowledge the unique life of the deceased: the individuality of their personality, and the special moments of their life's path. Not just for them, but for you; it affirms the relationship, and leads to healing after loss. Honoring their life is truly an act of love - for the both of you.

No matter how you feel at this moment, you have our commitment - you're never alone.
When a death occurs, the order in which things need to be done often depends on where the death occurred. That's why we suggest that you ask a friend for help - someone who is more able to think clearly, and give you the support you need. Accepted customs of dress and behavior in a funeral have changed over time, but courtesy never goes out of style.
Pre-planning your funeral should be a natural part of life, because it provides you with time to make end-of-life decisions in a calm and rational atmosphere. Start the online planning process now, or meet with one of our pre-planning advisors. It just makes sense. Giving a pre-plan to those you love gives everyone greater peace-of-mind.

I am a hospice nurse and dealing with funeral homes is part of what I do. I recently lost my grandfather and our family decided to use Oakley-Cook. I cannot say enough about this group of people. Not only are they extremely kind and compassionate, but they are understanding and meet each family where they are. We were treated so well. They went above and beyond to provide us with everything my grandfather deserved and my grandmother wanted. They made sure the entire family was taken care of. I would recommend this funeral home over anywhere else in the tricities. Special thanks to Johnathan and

I cannot say enough about the care my family was given by the staff at Oakley Cook funeral home. They went above and beyond to make a very difficult time as painless and worry free as possible. They are very honest and straightforward with explaining the costs. They are not pushy and work really hard to meet your financial needs. The customer service was just phenominal. When our personal belongings were delivered by Jonathan, he forbid us to help. He said he was there to serve our family. We have adopted him as part of our family. We will forever be grateful for their assistance with honoring

My grandmother and grandfather used them for there funeral and they did such an amazing job. So when I lost my son (miscarriage) last year that’s who I decided to use. And I’m so happy I did! They went above… and beyond. Well I lost my daughter (second miscarriage) last month and went right back to them. I had her funeral this month. And they yet again went above and beyond for us. They all are so caring. I will most definitely tell others about this funeral home! Thank you all for all you have done for my family.

My husband and I had always planned to use Weaver Funeral Home because that was the place where my mother and brother's services were. Then I attended the funeral of a loved one at Oakley-Cook and the extremely gentle and out-of-the-way kindnesses shown our family overwhelmed other family members and me. My husband and I will have our services at this beautiful place; I cannot conceive turning anywhere else at the lowest ebb of my life.
