There is almost no parking for residents, so beware of that. Very few parking spots are available, which is a constant issue and complaint from many residents. The grounds crew from Superior Lawn & Snow based in South Lyon Michigan needs to GO! (you can't review them online because they know they wouldn't be in business if consumers actually could speak out about them!). Pittsfield Village employs Superior Lawn and Snow, but one employee who is on the grounds 2-3 days a week has been an increasing concern for safety and community relationships. The Pittsfield Village Management has been defensive

I really enjoy living here. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the people are overall really nice. The reason why I gave it a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because I don’t always feel safe. My car was broken into one night while parked on the street. Parking usually isn’t a problem but the roads can be a bit tight and some people drive too fast. Either way I would recommend Pittsfield Village. What a great, tight-knit community!

I grew up on a lot of open land, so I was hesitant about moving into a city. There is so much open space though! I love my quiet little neighborhood (and the people) SO much. I also love being so close EVERYTHING - the quiet and open green spaces is so deceiving! I can’t imagine living anywhere else in Ann Arbor!

I was so worried about the street parking, but the snow plow guys are on top of things! I start work VERY early, and the roads are always plowed before I leave in the winter. The condos are the most unique in… the area, in my opinion. My ONLY word of caution is the big, beautiful windows can be chilly in the winter. Overall, excellent place to live with very friendly neighbors.

My husband and I lived in the Village during grad school at U of M. We absolutely loved our condo and it was significantly cheaper than renting. We moved away recently and miss the green spaces, friendly atmosphere, and convenient location a lot. I highly recommend this adorable hidden neighborhood that's a big part of Ann Arbor's history!

I have lived in Pittsfield Village for over 20 years, and it is a great neighborhood--420 homes on 65 acres of land with an elementary school in the middle and adjacent to a small nature preserve and City park with a playground and ballfield. The condos are small--1 and 2 bedrooms--but very affordable. There is no better location in the city combining economical living with fantastic bus service to both the U of M and EMU, entrance to the freeway system only 1/4 mile to the east, and a huge array of retail within a half mile walk or bike trip. There are a couple of dozen chain retailers--Whole
