LEINOS RESORT has been in the Leino family since 1937 when Ellen (Kananen) and Eino Leino began operating the resort along with the grocery store with a dance hall upstairs. The Riverside Dance Hall was a local institution with dances every Saturday Night. Ellen was an elementary teacher until she retired, and Eino was a butcher by trade and played the accordion with his band.
The River House is a three bedroom cabin that sleeps up to six people. The River House was rebuilt in 1996 and recently updated with new kitchen and bath. The River House is located in a very private river setting with handy access to Round Lake for fishing and Natures Lake( Squaw Lake) for hunting.
Folks looking for the ideal Northern Minnesota Fishing headquarters will find themselves right at home during their stay at Leino's Riverside Resort. Walleye, Northern Pike, Jumbo Perch and Panfish are plentiful in Round Lake. This 2850 Acre Lake is large enough to give you room to move around, but small enough to be managable through most weather conditions.
During autumn, you'll have a hard time deciding what to do next. Deer, Duck, Ruffed Grouse and Bear hunters can all find a good spot to pursue their favorite passion. Located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest, there are hundreds of miles of public trails that can easily be accessed by visiting hunters.

Leino's Riverside Resort is an "All Season" Fishing and Hunting Destination in Northern Minnesota. We are open summer, fall and winter for Ice Fishing December through April (weather permitting).
