Had a routine check up and cleaning. The cleaning was the fastest I have ever had in my entire adult life. Also, for the first time I experienced the kind of pain that most people associate with going to the dentist….except this one was even worse, unnecessarily rough and rushed. My gums are still swollen and in pain. My spouse had the same issue: rushed cleaning, and rough! I think I’ll find a different dentist for now.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews unless I actually have had multiple bad experiences somewhere. The staff here is lovely, all very friendly people. However, I have had two botched fillings come from here, one that’s requiring a root canal to fix. I’m not sure why, but they almost exclusively have dental hygienists doing the dental work instead of an actual dentist, which I was originally okay with until multiple mistakes were made that are now costing me a fortune to get corrected. I also had to tell one of the hygienists 3 times that I don’t have wisdom teeth so that can’t be the cause

After having fillings placed about a year ago, and now needing them replaced, not due to decay, but because of them simply not being done correctly, I feel I’m obligated to write a review. My dentist now took new x-rays, and stated “those fillings are left with open margins, no contact, and doesn’t look like they used a bonding agent”, I don’t necessarily know what all that means, but I do know that I have to come out of pocket for 4 teeth because they weren’t done properly by this office.

What a wonderful experience and a very nice staff. I am very cautious when I it comes to the dentist and Wow did they ever take such good care of me to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. So much so that I will moving my family to this office. I must say just absolutely awesome. Thank you so much for helping and thank you for the wonderful experience. Awesome!

I highly recommend Middletown Commons Family Dental. They're extremely professional, extremely polite, and extremely knowledgeable in their fields.
My doctor, Dr. Bishop was wonderful conversationalist as well as very professional and polite. My dental assistant I can't quite remember to her name, it was a beautiful name I remember that, but she was amazing as well, and also seemed very knowledgeable in her field. Rita, the receptionist was AMAZING. She helped me with my finances until we could get to a point where I can comfortably afford to make monthly payments at a reasonable amount for me

Best dentist ever! Everything is clean and neat. They have TVs in the rooms for you to watch while you’re getting your teeth cleaned. We are always greeted when we walk in and feel so welcome. The girls in the back are so nice and Connie is especially great! Dr Ward is so fantastic with my daughter.

I have always hated going to the dentist BUT after my first visit to this office, I knew that I had found a Doctor & staff that truly cared and I will NOT go any place else. Not only are Dr. Bishop and team excellent service providers and care for their patients better than every other dentist office I have been to, but they create such a fun and enjoyable environment that I tend to stay longer just to chat and laugh! Would recommended to anyone looking for a great dental office!
