Jim Joyce and David Bary are experienced disability attorneys who choose to practice disability law because of personal experiences. The Social Security disability system involves a lot of paperwork and thousands of rules, regulations and procedures. You can be denied benefits if forms are not completed correctly, your doctor doesn't know the legal definition of disability or a Social Security employee fails to obtain medical evidence on your behalf.
If you are disabled because of illness or injury and are unable to work, you could be entitled to Social Security Disability benefits. But getting SSD benefits is a long, complex, and challenging undertaking that can overwhelm you with paperwork, jargon, and deadlines. In fact, the requirements for Social Security Disability benefits are so stringent that about two-thirds of the folks who file claims are denied on their first try.

I was completely overwhelmed when I contacted Mr. Bary. He was very understanding. He is extremely knowledgeable in his chosen field of law. If you believe you’re disabled, call this law office NOW. Every time you call you’ll get a live, informed person. I wasn’t sure if I had a case, but after providing information to an assistant, I spoke with Mr. Bary. He was kind, compassionate and explained the process. Personal experience led him to helping people with disabilities. His office stayed on top of everything, submitting all paperwork and responding to requests from social security in a timely manner.
