My name is Becky Battaglia Goodman. We meet in college at WOU. Due to financial hardships, I quit school and started working. I worked as a school bus driver for many years before deciding to be a daycare provider. I am the mother of two daughters, Mikayla and Monica Goodman.
I started my childcare business in 2000, after I was having a difficult time finding quality and affordable childcare that opened early in the morning so I could work as a bus driver.My oldest daughter was one years old, and I made the decision to start a new adventure. After a successful two years, our daycare was busting at the seems.

We use Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care Environments as well as Funshine Express Curriculum. We also use the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment Tools to monitor the children's developments and to make ongoing goals for them in the classroom. We believe in a balance of social-emotional and academic curriculum.
I enroll in Cohort style #1 group has 2-3 year olds and Cohort #2 has 4-5 year olds. Using cohorts helps the children bond with students in their age and learning levels, encourages stability and allows them to graduate to kindergarten together. We only take a couple students under 2 years each year, typically they are a younger sibling to a 3-4 year old and enroll together.
Our Toddler rates include potty training with pull-ups included, healthy meals & our own Creative Curriculum Toddler Time activities and Learning Though Play preparing for Preschool. Our Preschool rates include a full day program of with healthy meals, our own Creative Curriculum structured educational Learning Through Play & Social-emotional training preparing for Kindergarten.

Are any of these complaints verified that their kids attented there? My children have been at beckys for the last 3 years. My son is autistic and my daughter is not. Both have been treated very well as have i there. I havent ever had any concerns there with my children and becky has always worked with me to assist whyatt better including hiring one extra staff to always have a eye on him. Its only been this employee that ive ever questioned her dedication to being a positive example in my childrens lives. I always recommend beckys childcare to anyone looking for childcare. Becky and her team have been absolutely amazing. She has demonstrated a genuine interest in our child's well-being, but it goes much further than that. Working with us, as parents, through life's bends in the road, I would recommend her services to anyone. Thank you Amazing Minds, the Portland Metro area needs more daycare programs like yours!!

Amazing Minds is just as it says AMAZING! Becky, her family, and her staff are truly one of a kind and provide an excellent early education, and childcare for the community. I have put all three of my kids through her program, my kids love her and her staff as family. I recommend Amazing Minds every chance I get, and will forever. They provide childcare and pre-k education for working families with flexible drop off and pick up. The pre-K education prepares the kids so well for kindergarten, it makes the transition almost seamless for the kids. I cant rave enough of the relationship we have had

My experience with Amazing Minds has been great. This was my sons first and only child care growing up and I also had the privilege to work closely with the owner Becky. Her heart for the children shows through in her care. Staff at both homes are welcoming and also have the heart for children. If you want your children to feel at home, get the education they need before starting school, and have an overall amazing experience, this would be the place to go.
