Services
At Wooden Fish Preschool we believe children learn through play. Therefore, our teachers craft an early childhood education program that provides ample opportunity for children to explore, create, ask questions, and take risks. We also believe an early childhood program should enrich the whole child, including their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
At the original location of Wooden Fish Preschool, you'll find our largest outdoor space and many thematic play spaces. Two swings, a mud kitchen, and many outdoor toys make for an enriching outdoor space that fosters fine motor, gross motor, and problem solving skills. Children enjoy a laid back atmosphere that builds community in a smaller location to foster connection.
At the second location of Wooden Fish Preschool, you'll find our largest building and friendly kids. A hand painted mural adorns our main classroom, and a play structure, play houses, and a geo-dome make for outdoor fun! The size of this location allows for teachers to separate students into smaller groups for optimized learning.
At the third location of Wooden Fish Preschool, you'll find a relaxed atmosphere that focuses on learning through play. Check out our newly redesigned STEM play space and computer stations, complete with fun murals! This location also has an outdoor classroom designed around the Next Generation Science Standards.

Sarah is a skilled, patient, kind, empathetic and warm caregiver. Our daughter has been in her care for two years (age 2-4), and during that time we have been grateful for Sarah in our lives. Her calm energy helps toddlers exploring their boundaries to understand how to respect themselves and their friends. The activities Sarah encourages help kiddos to develop their minds and bodies, learning social skills, fine motor skills, practicing creativity and learning other topics appropriate for their age range. Sarah understands that every child learns at a different rate, and she is able to monitor

I would send my child to a school that was created by Ms. Sarah And Bendrea. My family and I met Sarah in 2015 where she was a teacher at a private preschool my daughter was attending at the time. Although Sarah was not the operator of the school we felt that she took on a great amount of responsibility for each child and displayed the type of patience I wish I had with my own kid. Over time we have come to know Sarah as a close personal family friend and trusted role model in our child’s life. She continues to take an interest in our’s and our daughters life and she has mentioned her hopes

Sarah is great with our 7 and 3 year olds. Our youngest is very attached to us, but thankfully she bonded to Sarah quickly and it made transitions and my anxiety leaving her so much better. I love her positive and kindhearted attitude and she’s fantastic at communication, which is so important with a childcare provider. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to meet Sarah at my son's 1st preschool 4 years ago. Since then she has been an incredible support for our family, taking care of my son regularly. She is fun, friendly, creative, and kind, as well as extremely reliable and will go the extra distance in providing outstanding care. We highly recommend her.

We just adore Sarah and her school! We have a 3 year old little diva. Lilly comes home happy, excited, and most of all tired!!! ;-) The facility is clean and organized and always very welcoming. Her prices are right and location is perfect for our family. We actually met sarah at her previous establishment, and when she left, we HAD to follow. Both my kids have taken a light to "Miss Sarah" and we couldnt be happier!

Sarah is an amazing teacher who really cares about teaching each child and catering to each child’s intellectual, physical, and emotional needs and development. I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Sarah as her assistant. I honestly can’t say enough about how amazing the set up of Wooden Fish is. You couldn’t go wrong trusting Sarah with your child.

Sarah helped raise my son from the age of 18 months to 4 years old. I can't think of a better person to be involved in my child's life.
My son started school as a shy, quiet and reserved child. With Sarah's affection, care and teaching my son has blossomed. He is very comfortable at school and loves going to see Sarah, and of course his friends. Sarah's taught him how to spell his name and play respectfully with others. She's also introduced many musical and educational games that he's shared with us at home.
Best of all, she played a critical role in potty training him. She worked with our family

Sarah is just wonderful with children, plain and simple. She was a childcare provider for our son for two years. Our son had a difficult transition from a stay at home environment to preschool and Sarah really eased that transition tremendously by getting to know him and being incredibly caring and understanding with him. I think Sarah just really enjoys early childhood education and it shows in the way she interacts with the kids. She’s always very thoughtful and interested in learning the way they think and what excites them. I can’t say enough about Sarah and truly feel lucky that we had
