Looking for best quality snorkel gear to rent while visiting Kauai. We offer all silicone masks, a purge mask or a prescription mask - and an Impulse 3 snorkel. Snorkel flotation vests are also available. We take time to demonstrate how to get the best seal on your mask everytime & proper adjustments to maintain that seal in the water.

Local owned and owners, Mike and Janey, seem to always be there working. They have the best equipment and the best deals on the island. They're also extremely knowledgeable about the best places to go on the island for snorkeling and current conditions. I will always go to this beach shop when I'm on Kauai. Thank you guys for making our snorkeling amazing

Mike and Janie, the shop owners, were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas for the entire week during our vacation. They had a big selection of diving gear including masks, snorkels, freediving and spearfishing equipment. They were also helpful in giving us local tips to beaches for our kids.

These guys are awesome! It's the only shop on Kauai to find quality Freediving gear for myself and students. They carry a nice variety of gear so no matter if you are a beginner just looking to getting into the sport or you are looking for the best gear on the market, they'll either have it or can special order it for you. We send all of our students from Freedive Kauai to Kapaa Beach Shop no matter if they are renting for the class or investing in themselves. The owners are the most friendly and welcoming so go check them out.

Mike and Janie were incredibly helpful and friendly as we were planning activities throughout our trip. I wish everyone we encountered were as wonderful as they were! Their gear is great quality, and they gave us numerous recommendations for snorkel areas, hikes, kayak tips, and other ways to explore the island. So grateful we walked into their shop! Looking forward to coming back the next time we're in Kauai.

Came in on a day they were not supposed to be open. The owner was at the location helping a friend out. I was welcomed in and was Still able to get my mask and snorkel. The prices are the best I’ve seen. The variety is impressive.
But, the customer service was what really stood out...... Phenomenal!

This is the best dive shop on Kauai. Their prices are great, much better than other shops. Their service was spectacular! We went in for a dive knife and a speargun. The owner was very helpful and didn't make us feel like dummies for not knowing a thing about spearfishing. All in all they where great! And they have a beautiful pup!

Such sweet, helpful, knowledgeable people. Just loved them. I'm not a swimmer and he picked up on my hesitation right away and recommended we go to a spot more suited for novices (sorry I forget the name. I will edit later when I remember) and the spot was perfect. They were so helpful and patient (it takes patience dealing with our large, loud family - lol). We couldn't have found a better place. We were able to get everything we needed for a day at the beach and the prices were so incredibly cheap. By far the cheapest thing we've done here, including eating. Lol. They even let

Truly, Mike and Janie run a really great shop. They have a quality selection of the the necessities for snorkeling and spearfishing. They know their stuff, and are really great down-to-earth, friendly people. They really seem to love what they do, and that makes for a trustworthy shop. This is not your typical cheap tourist equipment shop. They have quality gear at reasonable prices, and they care about the island and its sacred resources.

Because it was our last day, we couldn't use the beach chairs from our Airbnb. We came here to rent some. I believe it cost $10 per chair for the day (but it may have been $10 for 2 chairs).
It was a short walk from here to Kapa'a Beach Park which was nice. When we were done, we just dropped off the chairs and were on our way.
This was the perfect place for us to rent some beach chairs. They have lots of other beach stuff too.

Mike was a lifesaver and a total pleasure to deal with. It was my first time on the Garden Isle and I wasnt able to bring my bodyboard over from the mainland. All i brought with me were my swim fins and an extra bicep leash I had. I was looking for a legit bodyboard rental and the shops I had been to and/or the beach side rental shacks had boards that just werent up to par.
I was down the road at Tamba buying tees and the guy there (thankfully) referred me to Kapaa Beach Shop when I asked if he knew of any places that had quality bodyboard rentals. He told me Mike at KBS rented Mike Stewart Science

What an excellent location to rent bikes!! This place is directly on the bike path and the bike path is gorgeous! What made it even better was the friendly helpful staff. I know that sounds rehearses. But it is true. And isn't that what you want -- knowledgeable friendly helpful is exactly what you get here with excellent hours and really great pricing. Don't go anywhere else -go here.
