Whether you're enjoying one of our scuba certified-only adventures or uncertified scuba experiences, all medical and physical restrictions must be declared at the time of reservation, and all participants must sign a waiver to ensure we can provide the best underwater journies for all of our customers.
Bubbles Below charters are fun, casually directed marine ecology tours led by a naturalist who is experienced in Hawaiian waters and their residents. We have over 30 different dive sites as close as three minutes and as far as 45 minutes away on Kauai's south and southwest shores. With our dive groups being small, we choose dive sites that are appropriate for the group based on dive conditions of the day and the experience level of our divers.
Availability: Typically offered on Wednesday and Saturday; however, we often can put together charters on other days with a party of six or more. Fall in love with the diversity of life and topography Ni'ihau and Lehua Crater have to offer the intrepid diver! Monolithic lava formations provide for an array of habitats.
This three-tank dive takes you to some of the best dive sites in the area to see the vibrant marine life that inhabits Hawaii's waters! Awesome critter diving! Our crew dives these sites frequently, so your instructor/divemaster has a great idea of where the most vibrant marine life can be found. Many of our dive sites are prime turtle destinations and are common hangouts for white tip reef sharks and massive schools of snappers!

We went on an outing with Bubbles Below during Thanksgiving week 2021. Blondie, in the office, was welcoming and helpful. Clay, the boat captain was expert in all matters (and told great jokes!). Manny, our divemaster, was highly knowledgeable and patient with our beginner status. For the four of us, it was our first dive on Kauai. We felt supported, expertly guided, and safe from start to finish. We will definitely book with them when we return. We also appreciated how they support citizen science and NOAA science efforts around the island. Mahalo!

Very communicative via email but we didn’t get the email. Booked Mana Crack but because their boat didn’t get fixed for more than 6 months (supply chain and mail issues in Hawaii are real as we live on Oahu) they emailed us that our trip was rebooked to a local dive. Because I was busy, I didn’t see this email. They did kindly offer a refund the day before the trip but at this point, no other option was available for getting to the north shore so we dove with them anyway.

We enjoyed our dives, the excellent and new BCDs and the top notch regulators. As divers who always rent it was really nice to have new and well maintained equipment. We saw two enormous spotted sea rays which were a first for us on our second dive and the largest hawksbill sea turtle I have ever seen in person. We particularly enjoyed the full service aspect as all equipment was prepared ahead of time and there was no after dive clean up! First class! We will be back for a Ni’ihau and hopefully Lehua dive one of these days!

Bubbles Below runs a class act from the moment you book until you leave the boat. Blondie is very colorful and has a sparkly personality at the office. Clay is not only a great Captain, but he is funny and keeps a careful eye on the customers and crew. Dive master Jack was extremely educated on all the sea life and was fun to dive with. My wife Summer and I couldn’t have been more happy with our two tank dives and the service. Thank you Bubbles Below!

The wife and I went out diving for 3 days with this team and we had a great time. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about diving and protecting the ecosystems of where we were diving. Only knock against them is that we were a bit confused on our first day as to when to meetup at the shop after the dive schedule was changed due to weather conditions but the positive experience that followed more than made up for it.

I got my certification with Bubbles Below. Clay and Blondie (the owners) were very responsive to emails and phone calls. They were able to help accommodate my schedule and help me plan my dive time on island.
Jordan, my instructor and dive master, was clear during instruction and helped me feel comfortable underwater. He was easily able to identify areas that could potentially cause me problems and offer actionable advice. He also adjusted his style as I became more comfortable and he was comfortable with my abilities.

Wonderful charter outfit. Everyone was genuinely friendly, easy-going, and dedicated to ensuring a great dive. Our guide Anthony was spectacular - his keen vision found all sorts of sealife, and he identified them all on a slate (!!). He also gave a quick lesson on the island's aquatic fauna during our surface interval.
From doning/doffing our gear, to rinsing it after the dives, the crew did such a good job taking care of the logistics that I almost felt embarrassed by the level of attention.
On top of all of that, the whole crew was really committed to respecting the marine environment.
