Another awesome week! This is our third year staying with Pete and Brenda and we can't rave enough about their hospitality. Brenda's meals never fail to leave you wishing you had a second stomach! Pete knows the area like the back of his hand and is a knowledgeable source to have. Their company is just wonderful! Highly recommend staying at Pleasant River Guides for your next Maine adventure!

My family and I stayed at the cabins for a grouse and woodcock hunt. We had a perfect stay. The hosts, Pete and Brenda, were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. The cabins were clean and updated. The land available to utilize was healthy and full of life. Do not bring too much food! Brenda supplies incredible cuisine for those long days in the woods. I highly recommend a stay with Pleasant River Guides and AirBnb services. It will be a trip to remember. One you'll be sure to re book!!

My husband and I wanted to visit the area around Sebec Lake this past weekend. There are not really many motel options and we didn't want to stay as far away as Bangor. We decided to give this place a try. As far as we were concerned, it worked out perfectly. I was a bit confused by some previous reviews because they related to the Pleasant River Guides accommodations for hunters. During the non-hunting season, this is just a nice place to stay. They have five cabins in a very pretty setting near a beaver pond. The cabins are all a bit different, so you should talk to the owners about your requirements

Stayed here for a night on a motorcycle trip from New Glasgow to Montreal (week long trip with my parents from Whitby, ON to Cape Breton Island) It was such an amazing place, it became one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. I really hope I get the opportunity to come back. The only arguable downside may be lack of wifi especially if you plan on staying for a long time and depend on internet for some reason.

The cabins are extremely clean and comfortable. Brenda and Pete are exceptional hosts, and were in contact with us leading up to and during our stay making sure we had everything we needed. Brenda made us a fabulous breakfast (make sure and try Brenda's bread!) Will definitely stay there again. Brenda and Pete, thanks for the hospitality!

What an amazing time! We went up for a long 4 day weekend to hunt woodcock and grouse and had a great time. Pete and Brenda were excellent and went out of their way to make us feel like family. The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was unbelievable. Lunches we're even packed for those of us who wanted to stay out and hunt through the day instead of heading back to camp. The camp was also very dog friendly and accommodates very well for hunters who are bringing their own pups. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors and wildlife that Maine has to offer. We are looking

This will be my 3rd trip to Pleasant River Guide service on October 22nd since last October. What a beautiful place!!! Hosts Pete and Brenda are great people. The cabins are A- class, very comfortable, and clean. The food is outstanding.... can't wait to return in a few weeks. I bragged about it so much to my wife, that we came up last spring and stayed several days. She was amazed and wants to come back again next spring.
