Pacific Ballroom Dance
We are filming all 3 shows and will release those videos on our website for viewing and sharing at a later date. Masks are required for all attendees ages 5 and up. The show will take place at the PBD studio. There is assigned seating and doors will open 30 minutes before each show. Pacific Ballroom Dance builds character in youth through a positive ballroom dance experience.

Ballroom dance students build friendships, practice mutual respect, assume the positive, value diversity, and become more fit both mentally and physically. PBD promotes and values artistic beauty and human connection for youth and adults. Stay up-to-date with policies and procedures being implemented at the studio as things progress and continue to change.
Services
Pacific Ballroom Dance began in 1994 when PBD's founders (talented ballroom dancers), chaperoned a teen dance at a local church. No doubt seeing a large number of boys and girls glued to opposite walls or gathered in small groups there was a need for students to gain confidence, social and interpersonal skills in a structured, non-threatening social environment.
PBD's Summer Dance Camps provide a fun introduction to ballroom dance for boys and girls 4th grade and under. Through group activities, challenges, and choreography, they will discover the joy of Ballroom Formation Team dancing.

These camps are designed for brand new students, students who are currently enrolled in the PBD STARS program, and 4th grade students entering the preteen category to practice learned skills, meet new dancers & enjoy some themed dancing summer fun!
Students can choose to audition for a competition team allowing dancers to participate and travel to various ballroom dance competitions during the competition season. Competition (Lodging/Travel) fees will be determined per event and are the responsibility of the dancer. Auditions for our Competition Teams are quickly approaching.
Pacific Ballroom Dance builds character in youth by providing a positive ballroom dance experience. To provide youth with a positive artistic, social and athletic experience designed to help them be productive community members. The Pacific Ballroom Dance Performing Company now includes more than 150 dancers on 10 Performing Teams of various ages and skill levels (Stars, Preteen, Junior, and Youth) and 16 Competition Teams!
All the information you need to know about the programs and events we have at Pacific Ballroom Dance. Here you will find all the PBD syllabus routines currently being used by our Academy for syllabus competition. Please contact Coach Monique if you have any questions. Going to competition, especially for the first time, can be quite overwhelming.

PBD is an outstanding ballroom dance studio. They have high values and teach so much more than danceā€¦like respect, kindness, inclusivity, and hard work. My son looks forward to class every time. And the competition teams are amazing. We found PBD during covid, when we were looking for a dance studio that followed the public health recommendations. We really hit the jackpot. Highly recommend giving PBD a try.

I really enjoy this dance studio and all it has to offer. Rick Gossard is an excellent teacher, and you will have a good time. Rick's teaching/instruction style is very easy to follow, but his 5-week course gives you way more for your money than what you would pay at a big chain franchise like Arthur Murray.

Youth mentorship through formation ballroom dance. There is a strong community here, and I never leave in a bad mood, nor do our kids.

Called several times and never ever called back. Almost bought a groupon but thankfully didn't waist my money. They apparently dont want business and I feel sorry for anyone who has to work with these people. I honestly wouldnt bother wasting your money because they apparently dont want to do there job.

I took a group adult ballroom dance lesson 5-wk series via Groupon at Pacific Ballroom Dance and had a blast! Not only did the instructor provide helpful tips on improving our dance figures, he was also really funny and made us laugh at what we were doing wrong and how to make our dance look more beautiful. The students in the class were all very courteous and interested in gaining more skill each week. Rotating partners during class gave me a way to practice my dance technique learned from the group lesson and my own private lessons. They have weekly social dances every weekend so you can practice

My fiance and I signed up for classes prior to our wedding. We wanted to learn how to waltz for our first dance. I have always been uneasy touching and/or being touched by strangers, but for the sake of the class, when we were told to rotate partners, I did so. When we returned to the next class, my fiance and I explained to the dance instructor that I wasn't comfortable dancing with other people, because I was uncomfortable being touched, and we asked that we just dance with one another, and be left out of the rotation. The teacher agreed. Ten minutes after having this conversation, the instructor
