Over the past 18 years Eric has made unique pieces of functional art for his family of four. He has always been really creative, but when his young and active family moved to Kennesaw, GA 6 years ago he started creating pieces of custom furniture and the orders began flooding in. He was a collegiate minister but the journey to Eric's dream of Staveness Studios was coming into reality.

Super nice guy, young father, hard worker, expert knowledge. I brought my ramshackle but beloved old desk to Eric Staveness at Staveness Studios, I needed the broken drawers fixed. Eric got the drawers all squared away for me, sanded the whole desk down, cleaned it all up, replaced old damaged wood on both sides, and prepared the desk for my planned painting. We were so impressed with his passion and expertise. He has a broad variety of projects going, loves what he does, and truly knows his craft. Fair price, great guy, beautiful work. Look no further!

We asked Eric in August 2019 to build us custom built-ins and a storage bench for our breakfast nook. We have limited space in our home so storage is important to us. Eric was able to custom design and deliver the product to us by October 2019. It was perfect timing because we were just finishing the final touches in our kitchen.
In April 2020, my grandma passed away. We had inherited a secretary desk and hutch from her in 2017. It's never been a great workspace for me but as COVID hit and I was working from home more, I realized it was time for a change. We enlisted Eric to make it more functional

We have used the services of Staveness Studios for multiple projects over the past year and we can’t recommend them enough. He has designed two custom barn doors, a custom Murphy style bench, owners entry complete with an antique shoe cobbler stand, an amazing porch swing, sofa table...there seems to be a little piece of him all throughout our house. Each piece has been designed with our needs and style in mind. Whether he’s custom designing a big project or something small, like a wood picture with “I’ll be home for Christmas” etched in to it, you can trust that he will give it his all

The most creative person I know! I have a few items from Eric.1) A coffee table Eric designed. 2) A wooden piggy bank in the shape of a bunny. 3) Hand made Easter Eggs. My brother has also purchased a few desks from him. Everything he makes is high quality and built to last. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Staveness Studios!

Staveness Studios is absolutely amazing! Our home is filled with custom wood work that Eric has built and installed. He has built everything from a custom dog/cat box, pallet wall, laundry room cabinets, barn doors, and even a white picket fence for our daughters playroom. Eric is able to take your dreams and make them a reality! Every project we have him do, my last words are before he starts, “we trust you, do your magic, and do whatever you feel will look best!”, and Eric has ALWAYS gone above and beyond our imagination! Working with Eric was amazing! I've had this desk since 1990 and it's heavy and I wasn't using it. I knew the solid oak needed to be repurposed and not go to the dump. I found Eric at the Woodstock Market and as soon as I met him. I was excited about this desk when I hadn't been! He was so enthusiastic about the oak and telling me about it. He was open to options (because all I had was Pinterest) and he went above and beyond. He helped sketch it out, we made workable plans if there wasn't enough material and he made it.
