The Learning Tree is an eco-friendly early childhood center, focused on providing only the best. Though we've grown, the 1-1 attention and family-like feel is as prevalent today as it was with Carol's first school. Carol is actively involved in quality assurance and improvements with our entire team of employees.
We Believe In a Practical, Hands-On Approach to Caring for Your Baby while Letting them Explore and Develop to their True Potential. In the Highscope Education Approach, Infants learn through discovery with their teachers - this is called active participatory learning. During active learning, teachers encourage infants and toddlers to discover the world around them by exploring and playing.
We Use Every Opportunity to Teach Your Toddler All The Skills They Need, Including Having Family-Style Meals, Potty Training, And Learning To Express Themselves. While potty training is encouraged and possibly started in the toddler program, it is heavily focused on in Transitional Preschool. KidReports is a reliable resource that we use for consistent communication with our families.
Your Preschooler Is Growing Fast, Their Minds Are Absorbing Information Quickly and Making New Connections - This Is the Time To Set Them Up For Future Success. Our Preschool classroom is designed for children who are potty trained and 3 to 4 years old. Highscope Preschool Curriculum is implemented in all our Preschool Classrooms.
The routine is set day to day, with a consistent schedule that allows children to recognize and be aware of what events are going to take place. The Learning Tree North has been an amazing experience for my 2 year old son. He is in Ms. Noreen’s Toddler 2 room and every morning when I drop him off, he is always welcomed with open arms from Ms. Noreen and Ms. Rachel. He is already speaking in full sentences and has so much fun at school. When I went to work full time I was so worried about… leaving my son in someone else’s care. I know now that having him in Ms. Noreen’s class is giving him his best chance and teaching him the skills that I wouldn’t fully be able to teach him on my own. There is not a day that

We feel like our daughters are safe, encouraged, and supported. Our oldest just started preschool and is thriving in the environment.
We've liked it so much that we figured out how to make it work sending our infant there as well. The short term expenses will be worth it.
Can't ask for anything else!

We love The Learning Tree North because we love Ms. Kate and Ms. April! Ms. Kate has been so wonderful with our youngest son who needs a little extra care to feel comfortable at school. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure that he has a great day. Ms. Kate brings kindness, creativity and compassion to all of the children in her… classroom each and everyday. She is an absolute sweetheart and we are so grateful to have her as our son’s teacher. Ms. April has been amazing with our older son. She has been so helpful in increasing his independence and confidence at school

We LOVE Learning Tree North for many reasons, but mostly because of how much our daughter thrives there. She loves her teachers Ms. Jen and Ms. Alex, and is always excited to see Ms. Sam and the rest of the staff in the morning. Thank you to everyone for taking such great care of her for us! We can't wait to have #2 there in a few more months.

I love sending my Jack to the Learning Tree North. Both Brenda and Anna make me feel relaxed about having him in someone else's care all day. When we approach the classroom, Jack instantly begins to kick his feet and has the biggest smile because he knows he will be seeing Ms. Brenda and Ms. Anna. Thank you for making this first time mom… comfortable with going back to work full time! Fingers crossed there are spots open for our future babies! We plan to send them all to the Learning Tree! Also, shout out to Chef Ian for serving Jack some delicious and nutritious food! He comes home full

My family has been exceptionally happy at The Learning Tree. My children originally attended the Howell center but when I changed jobs, we moved to the Livonia North location. The staff was amazing in helping make the transition seamless for my kiddos! I love the High Scope Curriculum! My children are learning so much and are also developing… socially and emotionally. They work with each of my children individually to give them what they need. I have twins, and they are both in the same class. I am constantly amazed at the individual care that each one gets! We love The Learning Tree and

We love the learning tree north! Miss Brenda and Miss Adrianna in infant 1 are amazing. From the time our little one was just a few months old, they were always so helpful and responsive to questions and helping us as first time parents making the transition to daycare smooth. They have really helped our little one with all sorts of skills and… keeping us informed so we could do the same at home. I love the organic food options and they were FANTASTIC during the everchanging covid situations. Our daughter gets soo excited when we say we are going to daycare and just loves all the staff!

I was promise things that did not happen. To start I was promise pay that they change without telling or even asking me. Next when trying to add kids they not only gave the cold shoulder but never got back to me. Kids are move so much and staff is burned out and over at times. I don't even see them do the things they are promising the family's. Also they up the price every time at the start of the year. I will never put my children here and would tell you to save your money and go somewhere where the promises are kept.

My son started here this past summer. My husband and I really like what they offer and the security on getting in the building was what helped us decide on this one. The director is super nice and helped us with the transition of me going back to work. The app that you can download is really great too. I can just see how is day is going throughout the day without calling! Highly recommend!

Our daughter recently started attending The Learning Tree in Livonia. They welcomed her with open arms and made sure to try to embrace our entire family in the transition. The menu matches what we try to do at home so we know she's eating a well balanced, healthy diet while not in our care. Also, she has the same teachers everyday morning to evening so she has been able to quickly build a sense of comfort in the classroom. So far so good! Happy we made this choice.
