Sitts & Hill is currently providing civil engineering design and topographic surveying services for the modernization of this Tacoma Public School. This railcar crude oil unloading facility was fully designed in 3D, permitted, and constructed in 14 months. The project was phased for an early start on fire suppression systems and containment wall construction.
The completed facility features 6 rail spurs, over 5,900 LF of track, 60 covered unloading platforms, 3 independent pump stations, and is designed to accomodate a future expansion of up to 46 additional stalls. Sitts & Hill is currently providing survey and civil engineering services for the redevelopment of ~60 acres of North Mason School Districts existing 120-acre shared campus.
