At a very young age Sunny was drawn to art and design, but it wasn't until she found flowers that she truly discovered her medium. Known for her strong sense of creativity as well as a deep affinity for order and cohesiveness, Sunny strives to weave together all the meaningful details of an event in a thoughtful design plan.
She has spent over fifteen years in the industry and for almost seven years had the honor of working with a small and elite team of florists in Chicago serving as the personal florist to Oprah Winfrey and Harpo Studios. Aside from the birth of her two daughters, Sunny counts her time working with Ms. Winfrey as one of the greatest accomplishments in her life.

We start with a complimentary consultation, followed by a detailed custom proposal where we help to define your vision and create a cohesive look and feel for the overall floral designs.
Over the many years that I have been a wedding florist I have found that for many brides your vision for your wedding florals do not always align perfectly with your floral budget. Sunny was so amazing and accommodating for all of my needs and requests throughout my journey! I had to postpone my wedding twice, but decided last minute to still have a ceremony on our original date in April 2020. She was able to put together a beautiful spring bouquet and even tossed in an additional boutonnière for my husband. For our new wedding date, our flowers did wilt pretty quickly throughout the day, but I totally understand the shortage on florals and that’s what they do, so I’m not upset by any means. My then fiancé, now husband, and I were engaged on May 25th 2019. Shortly thereafter, the planning ensued! I didn’t know much at the time about how I wanted my wedding to look, but I did know that the flowers for our big day needed to be showcased. Sunny is absolutely fantastic to work with! I began working with her last year to plan floral for our wedding, and eventually had to postpone and downsize our wedding - throughout the entire process, she was so thoughtful and responsive. The end product was just breathtaking and worth every dollar - she took my inspiration photos and helped curate an entire look with it, taking into consideration the venue change, date change, etc. I couldn't recommend Ebb & Flow enough, Sunny is so talented!

I can't say enough good things about Sunny! When I came to her, I had no clue what I was looking for with my wedding flowers. She worked with me patiently for MONTHS, allowing me to change my mind over and over again. One of the things I was looking forward to most in the wedding planning process were the florals. Sunny took all of my ideas and executed them in her wonderful style.
