Tom's honest assessment has, at the very least, curtailed some work. Looks like there are some professionals still out there that will give you an objective evaluation that doesn't automatically translate to $'s for them. Foundation repairs can be pricey and if you are concerned about overly ambitious foundation repair "opportunists" get a hold of Tom to get an honest appraisal of what the issue is. You may not like what he has to say but at least you'll be able to count on it.

I appreciated so much about working with Mr. Dodson. When he first came out to give an estimate on leveling our 80 year old home, he brought his assistant Misty with him. As a woman home with her children I appreciated the respect and kindness they both showed to my kids and my house. They took their time and made very detailed measurements. Other companies sent people who used no equipment and gave an estimate within 5 minutes without even looking in every room. Dodson Foundation Repair is a reliable company. They came out and inspected our foundation for us. We were worried we were going to have to spend a bundle on a foundation repair. It turned out it was just Mother Nature takin it’s course. They saved us a bundle and educated us on how the ground moves. If we ever end up needing an actual repair, I know who to call. 😃

Strongly recommend Mr. Dodson! Was expecting the worst, Mr. Dodson walked me through what my real foundations issues were and what was needed to fix, significantly less than I expected. Never felt any sales pressure, or additional work that was not needed. Clearly Mr. Dodson is more concerned with creating a satisfied customer, and solving problems than trying to squeeze every penny out of me!
