D. is a licensed audiologist in practice since 1998. Before opening her own practice she worked at several major medical centers in Boston, Cleveland and Worcester. She founded Hear My Dreams support group, served as Assistant Director of the cochlear implant program at University Hospitals of Cleveland and is actively involved in her community.
Ms. Norman has a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern New Hampshire University with a major in Human Resource Management. She is a Chelmsford native and enjoys spending time with her son, nephews and princess niece. You will get to know her when you call HearSmart Audiology as she answers the phone, registers our patients, schedules appointments in addition to many other helpful tasks.
1/28/2020: I have been a patient for almost three years. Everyone here has always been incredibly professional. They explain everything in detail, they answer my questions and they are all really pleasant to deal with. Hearing aids have made a dramatic difference in my life. The folks at HearSmart Audiology made it very easy to adjust to the hearing aids in the first place and to keep everything with my hearing running smoothly.
Dr. Ford feels she has been called to volunteer her time outside of her work day as a professional audiologist to provide and facilitate a professionally-led support group for parents of children with hearing loss. Her motivation stemmed from witnessing a need in the clinic during audiology consultation appointments with parents of children with newly identified hearing loss.

I was referred 2 years ago to HearSmart by my friend, Tom, who had just been fitted there with new hearing aids. I was due for replacement of 10 year old hearing aids myself, so I investigated by getting a hearing evaluation with Dr. Ford. I decided at the time that new aids were not within my budget, but realizing my aids were doing less for me all the time, the seed was planted and I planned ahead.

I have been using HearSmart Audiology for more than four years. Dr. Ford's is the best and her team is great as well. She does not only provide expertise or great services for patients, but also organize the monthly event to gather all of us having similar experiences to share our stories.
