SpartanNash was formed when Spartan Stores, based in Grand Rapids, Mich., merged with the Nash Finch Company based in Minneapolis, Minn. in November of 2013. Both companies have long and rich histories of serving their communities. At the end of the day we have to always do what's right for ourselves. Part of that is standing up for what we see is right as employees. Spartan nash decided that they didn't want to take care of me there employee that was injured on the job. SpartanNash made me walk around on a broken ankle with 5 severed ligaments for 5 months now.During that 5 months I followed the orders and attended every PT appt and doctors appointment. I had my surgery scheduled for next Wednesday and work comp dept decided to object to surgery and tell me that I had to see another doctor of there choice in

On Saturday, Oct. 9 I went to the family fare store on lake michigan drive about 3.00p. I need an electric cart, the only one available was not working. There are only 2 outlets sockets to charge them. Therefore I only got one item.
Got in self check out line. Two were open, neither working. Long lines at attended checkouts. After a. Complaint to the service desk someone fixed the self checkouts. A couple people abandoned their intended purchases.
What went well: 1. Pharmacy drive up
2. Gas station
Suggest: 1. abandon your policy of hiring only part time non benefit employees
2. Install more

The horrible place I ever been.Got there at 300am and appt. Was 3:15 am didn't get a dock until a hour later then sat at dock for 2 hours before then even started taking pallet off and it was only four pallets and took 5 hours so if you don't want to waste your time get load some where else and don't have a delivery going here.
