A Magic Carpet Ride indeed. With an assortment of hand woven rugs originating from Persia, Afghanistan and other countries, this shop decorated their store with rugs hung like tapestries and covering the floors. Truly a delight to the eyes to behold the array of colors, textures and styles. The owners Kathleen and Michael are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable about their products- from the history and materials to technique. I particularly loved the nomadic rugs- simpler design but extensive in technique. There are even rugs that have designs of women with hands on their hips to symbolize

Gorgeous Rugs! I have 5 of their rugs and they give so much personality to our house-. They are all in great shape and are easy to care for. The staff are very knowledgeable about the rugs and where they came from, which adds even more character to the hand-made designs. I get so many compliments from friends and family. Also- I love that the location is at High-Hand Nursery where you can spend the afternoon shopping for local art pieces, strolling through the garden and enjoy a lovely meal all in one place. Definitely a treasure and I will be back!

The walk landed me in Persian Carpets. Yes, a rug company agent to the nursery. The walls are full of beautiful carpets and rugs of various colors and sizes. I spied a really cool roll out multiple colored washable throw for my kitchen. At first I thought it was a yoga mat. But you would have to see it to see how cool it is ! Matches perfect. So I did not have breakfast , but left with an awesome
