IAQ is perhaps the largest public health problem in the United States workforce. As buildings age, problems occur undetected or detected resulting in an environmental airborne hazard. On average we spend over 90% of our time indoors. We are often exposed to fungal, biological, and chemical elements which can affect our health.
Mold spore colonies and mold problems are primarily associated with water intrusion issues. Water leaks, ice dams, pipe breaks, flooding, etc. play a major role in the formation and spreading of mold spores. Mold targets areas such as HVAC systems, associated ductwork, inner wall cavities, drywall components, ceilings, insulation materials, and many others.
TEK employs certified Lead Inspectors / Risk Accessors who can determine lead-based paint hazards utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. We primarily use the X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer (XRF), which can detect lead elements embedded in many surfaces. A Risk Assessment can determine if any lead-based paint hazards exist in your home or building.

I normally do not review any businesses, because my husband and I also have a small business and I realize some days are harder than others to make everyone happy, however I felt I needed to let others know my feelings on TEK Enviornmental. We suffered a large water loss to our home over 14 weeks ago and of course my biggest concern was mold...TEK came to our home with such patience, and caring and inspected each room with time.
