A podiatrist is a doctor of podiatric medicine (DPM), a specialist who provides medical diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems, including, but not limited to ankle sprains and fractures, bunions, heel pain, heel spurs, hammertoes, neuromas, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, corns and calluses.

Outstanding visit extraordinary service by Dr Robert Scott Steinberg, who examined my sons sprained ankle and not only told us what didn't happen but also educated us with why's and all possibilities with their symptoms and what to think of - if and when similar thing happens in the future. Both myself and my son left his office with a great state of mind and a joy. Amazing Dr and a great person to know! I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Active Foot and Ankle. Dr. Steinberg has been so easy and excellent to work with from scheduling to diagnosis and treatment of a bad case of plantar fasciitis. The doctor recommended custom made orthotics that have proven to be extremely beneficial in healing my foot while also allowing me to stay active during the process. (golf, biking and so on) Dr. Steinberg's years of experience came through immediately during my first visit and gave me a sense of confidence in his approach and recommendation to resolve the problem and it worked!

Dr Robert Steinberg SAVED me and my quality of life as he surgically repaired a bad injury I had taken. I am so happy with the results. HE is so knowledgeable and takes care of the patients physical and emotional needs. Dr. Robert Steinberg is a doctor who believes in your FULL recovery. He works with you with Plantar Fasciitis and Bone spurs and takes a natural approach to healing which helps the patient overall. I am so glad to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Steinburg came in on a Saturday when the office was closed and worked on my foot while saving me from a hefty ER bill. Not only did he come in after being closed but succeeded at getting out the painful splinter that was invisible in my heel. I thank him for his patience, determination, and his applaudable technique. I highly recommend going to him! He is a dedicated Doctor.

I typically don't give online reviews, but I had to add a review for Dr. Steinberg. He is an AWESOME doctor...one of the best I have encountered. Dr. Steinberg is not only extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but also has a delightful bedside manner. He takes the time to get to know his patients and carefully explains his diagnosis and recommendations for treatment in an understandable way. I had foot surgery about a month ago and have had a great recovery with minimal discomfort. If I have other foot/ankle issues in the future, I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Dr. Steinberg is very thorough and is passionate about his craft. He was very honest about every facet of my recovery process after my surgery. He is personable and takes a personal interest in his patients recovery. He has been available to answer any questions or concerns I have had, everytime I have called or come in. Looking for a good ankle clinic is never fun, but its great when you find a good doctor that really cares about you. Dr. Steinberg is just that type. True professional that care about your ankle pain and care. I will never go to any other clinic after going to him. He treat you like a person plus he is a very good foot and ankle doctor.

I am on my feet a lot and have been to two other doctors to look at the foot pain I have been experiencing for years. The pain started radiating to my legs and I was worried it would spread. I found Dr Steinberg on Google so I went to see him. He was clear with his diagnosis and gave me a prescription for orthopedics. I have been using the custom shoe inserts for a few months now and the pain is almost gone!!! I wish I had found him sooner! Give him a try - you won't be disappointed!! .
