Chinese medicine emphasizes that to preserve health one must keep in harmony with the laws of nature. Health is directly related to how well your body's complimentary forces (yin and yang) are balanced in the body for homeostasis. With balance as a guiding principle, Cristina's treatments focus on returning the body and psyche to a state of vitality.
Her treatment approach to health considers the whole person, who you are as an individual, your background, lifestyle and how you interact with your environment. Cristina Lang, LAc, EAMP, received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and Psychology in 1988. Shortly thereafter, she began practicing massage therapy and has been treating patients with acupuncture, cupping and herbal medicine for the last 10 years.

My interest in health and natural methods of healing began early in life. Having been an athlete and intuitively appreciating the healing benefits of spending time in nature from a young age, I found myself continually drawn to learning as much as I could about natural ways of promoting health and vitality throughout life.
I highly recommend Cristina and wish I could give her 10 more stars. I have been searching for a good massage therapist and acupuncturist. Finally I heard through a friend who heard from her friend about Cristina. Never in my years have I met such a skilled practitioner who can do it all in every visit.
The first session generally lasts 75 to 90 minutes. During this initial intake Cristina will evaluate the patient's condition, pattern and provide a treatment of one or a combination the modalities. Follow up sessions are approximately 60 minutes. These integrated treatments are often supplemented with cupping, bodywork or moxibustion.
While coverage varies between insurance companies, many companies will reimburse some portion of the cost to out-of-network providers. We strongly recommend that you check with your insurance company to confirm your benefits and/or coverage for acupuncture treatment.
