Still am living in this place, so far, not impress with level of professionalism of staff at all,(people I have to deal with on day to day basis like Social Worker- Nurses-CNA-housekeeping-etc, etc). Very lousy attitude with patients , very ignorant toward the residents.
To me so far, it looks like they are more worried to keep each other’s back than worry about the patients concern!
of course not all of them employees are like that, maybe 30% are exceptional and of that some are even sacrifices for the patients.

This is one of the worst place to put your parents in. The staff is so unorganized and doesn’t seem to have the patient’s well being in their best interest. It seems every time my mom pressed the button for a nurse it takes them over 30 mins to come. Only when they come they turn off the alert light and said they will get someone to help her, which she end up waiting another hour. I had to go grab the nurses several times only to have them give me an excuse that they are sending someone to help her. I waited over 1 1/2hr after just for someone to attend to her. I do not recommend this place

80% of the nurses are FANTASTIC. The Overnight nurses aides don't have compassion at all.
Terrible facility for back surgery patients. The beds are so old that the metal has worn down the mattress leaving you in you constant pain.
Not a high end or even middle end facility.
It is what you make it. Pretty much on your own. Asking for help is like an insult.

It was a big disappointment!! My dad 90 yrs old was referred to this facility after hospital discharge today 7/17/21. The staff was disorganized, unprepared. They kept asking for admission paperwork which was faxed to them for review prior to approval. No acknowledgement of his presence, no staff assistance. I decided to take my dad out of there and wished everyone better luck with their service. I would rate a big zero if that is offered.

My dad was in Laguna Hills Health & Rehab. for 2 weeks.
First, I like to say Kris Reyes is an asset to this establishment. She made this transition super easy for our family. She handles everything with much ease, patience and kindness. (Superb communication skills)
Despite the fact that this facility is old and in much need of a facelift, the care given to my father exceeded our expectations.
My dad didn't want to come home and was hoping to stay longer as he was so pleased with all the care he received.
All staff, nurses, Physical therapists, front desk, As well as caseworkers are caring

I have It a 3 Star rating because before Covid 19 the place Was actually very well maintained and treated there patients very very well. The staff attended the patients in a timely manner & I never heard or saw nor experienced horror stories like other nursing homes. Now that Covid is flooding these facilities. The only truly authentic person working in this facility is Social Worker Emily & Nurse Daniel. My grandma had Covid 19 all the sudden I get called to notify me she tested positive then 2 days later they call me to tell me her blood test were severely impacted by Covid and she he 48 hours

Absolutely derelict in patient attention. My wife had to call me at home, to call the Laguna Hills Nursing Facility to have a nurse come to her room to help her to the restroom. Absolutely inexcusable! On not less than three occasions, my wife asked for help to the restroom, and was told to “wait”, and help did not come and she urinated in bed. My wife has asked to be moved, to sit up, and be walked with assistance. It never came! I have made repeated phone calls and been left on hold until hanging up to call again. My mom was very apprehensive about spendy her recovery time at this facility . She had head not such great reviews. Actually very negative. I spoke on the phone to Rachel administrator . For the facility . She was very kind and understood. She assured me my mother would get excellent care. Well we took our chances on it well we had great service and excellent recovery . Give this place a chance . You will be happy with the staff and facilities. Only a four for the pdatedaint and furniture

My 81 y.o. dad stayed at the Laguna Hills Health & Rehab Center for 4 weeks and it turned out to be the best for him during his recovery from leg surgery. He had a rather negative experience with another rehabilitation center nearby where he was not well-cared for and attended to.
Jenny Pham, the Director, so genuinely caring, guided my nervous mom step by step through the admissions process. From the first day through the last day my dad, who also has Dementia, was receiving the specialized medical care, diet, attention, and therapies he needed. I stopped in for a salmon bowl today, and was very pleased. The dining area and kitchen were very clean, service was very informative and friendly, and the food was great. I watched as my food was prepared with care, and the ingredients were very clearly fresh. Awesome experience, I will be back regularly.
