Our father had made his arrangements, prior to his death, and it was all handled so efficiently and professionally, that when his wife unexpectedly passed away, 4 months later, we contacted them again. Christina was compassionate and expedient in all our interactions.
I want to thank the services of the Neptune Society. My mother signed up about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, we had to use Neptune in July. I can't state enough how simple the process was. All the Assisted Living had to do was make a phone call at my request. That was it. The very next day, Eric from the Salt Lake City office called me.

Over 50 years ago, my 94 year old mother prepaid for her cremation. Unfortunately in those years she lost the paperwork. When I called the Neptune Society they said they had some alternative way to keep track of the money in the past and they could not find proof of her payment. I guess this is why they were sued in 2019. So disappointing.

I recently made all my pre arrangements with Jerrie Perez and from the first time she called me and introduced herself I felt I was talking to a friend. She explained everything everything and sent me some information i wanted to go over with my daughter and asked her to call me the 1st week of the new year and she did, came by my house and i signed the contract. I was very happy and satisfied with all with the service she had given me and of when the time comes is going to be anything like that my daughter won't have any problems or worries either.

Thank goodness my mom purchased this plan many years ago. I didn’t have to worry about retrieving her body from hospital and they took her to their facility and took care of all the paperwork and mailed me her ashes with all her belongings too which was all included in the plan. I live across the country so this made things incredibly stress free. I plan on purchasing a plan of my own so my children have an easy transition when I pass. Great and professional service. Once again thank you to the Neptune society of Fort Lauderdale for helping me while I was mourning.

A friend is near death, and he paid for arrangements with Neptune Society. I have spent one hour trying to find the 24/7 phone number for Neptune. Their 800-Neptune number is disconnected. All the other numbers are for local offices that close at 5 pm.
I called the much cheaper cremation service I use and a person answered after one ring.
Finally I called a local cremation place, who said he takes calls for Neptune and many other mortuaries. He gave me a number for Neptune direct, the only number he had, and it is one I had already tried and no one answered.
Guess Neptune expects their members

Have used them a number of times if you want honest, efficient, reliable, professional then use them. I was handling the arrangements for another family member and they made it very easy for me to take over. Other services want notarized documents, lots of paperwork. They are more money then their competitors but if you want to avoid the brain-damage of some of their competitors then do it.

Terrible experience. My father prearranged his cremation with Neptune Society. Due to the circumstances of his death, he was with the coroner's office. Upon release, Neptune has failed to retrieve his body, and they have not communicated at all about where his body is. It has been two weeks now. We still do not have a death certificate which was filed a week ago. They will not send us the paperwork we need to sign because they say we need a 90 minute phone call to go over it, when I've already spent over an hour reviewing forms with them on the phone - just reviewing basic information

As aging and declining heath became apparent, I ironically received a postcard in the mail from Neptune. I had a friend recently pass who had used Neptune. Everything went as planned. The family was very pleased. This is what I want for my family. My experience with a Zoom call with Leslie was informative, professional, yet she was very personable. All questions answered. Very satisfied.

DO NOT use Neptune Society! When my dad died, the NS person grilled me about the circumstances of his death and pretty much accused me of killing him. (I was 400 miles away at the time, and he died of a stroke.) THEN, NS lost his body for 3 days, claimed the hospital "misplaced" it, but the hospital had proof that they had consigned the body to NS. THEN, even though my dad had a fully-paid cremation & urn plan, NS fleeced me for $600 more before they would release the ashes to me -- which weren't in the urn he requested. If I could give zero stars to this awful organization

The service that I received from the Neptune Society after my mother passed away was excellent. Carlos Calderon was the representative who helped me through the process. He was genuinely caring, compassionate, and professional. He answered all of my many questions and always returned my phone calls promptly. When my sister, daughter and I went to the Neptune Society office to pick up my mother's remains, everyone in the office was extremely friendly and welcoming. We are grateful to our mother for making these pre-arrangements a long time ago. Everything was so smooth and easy to navigate

We are very pleased with all services and support provided by Malory and personnel, they explained us the process of cremation and made us feel comfortable specially after loosing my Mother. They also help us with additional documents needed for permits since we are taking the urn abroad.

I can't say anough about how well the Staff addressed the passing of my wife Danielle this last May. Bryce was constanly in touch with me updating their progress. The entire process was as they had advertised without a mistep. Glad I also have Neptune to take care of me after I graduate. Five stars are not enough.

My father passed away in December. He had pre-arranged his cremation with the Neptune Society. As soon as he passed I called them and two very kind gentleman arrived within an hour or so to pick up my father. They asked if he had served in the military and since he had, they draped an American Flag over his body. A few weeks later I was able to pick up his cremains. I felt extremely grateful as he died at the height of covid and I know there was quite a backlog.
Throughout the whole process, everyone at the Neptune Society was kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend their services

Very poor handling of my mothers arrangements. Very unprofessional and impersonal... The employee never called me to let me know mistakes on paperwork were corrected and emailed to me. Onces in DocuSign it would let me fill in the highlighted boxes. Employee is never available to take my calls. Not happy with the Neptune Society process at all. Now I understand why Neptune Society has a low rating.I finally had to call the crematory myself and give the information. The man at the crematory was very nice and thorough. Terry Diamond & Sons in Bullhead City, Arizona. was very comforting.

My parents made the arrangements with Neptune Society before their deaths. My father passed 12 years ago and everything went very smooth. This year my mom passed so I directly corresponded with Alicia Jones. She handled everything and even hand delivered my mothers ashes and the death certificates to my front door. She had offered to do that on her way home from work. It was very kind and so very much appreciated. My husband and I are going to make our arrangements with Neptune Society.

Carlos Calderon was the best person for me to have guide me through the passing of my husband in January of this year. He was thoughtful and professional without seeming detached. In 2017 I made arrangements with Neptune Society in Sherman Oaks. I was paying it off monthly, so that in the event of my passing, my husband and son would not have to worry about arrangements. I wanted to pay off the balance due to the pandemic. Trying to get a hold of anyone online was impossible due to the pandemic and so many people calling. The wonderful people who originally handled my plan were no longer with the company.
I decided to call the home office. I was called back the next day by the sales manager. He apologized for any inconvenience due to my online experience.

I emailed the link which was provided by the business owner comment to my review asking to remove me from their list. It did not stop a continued harassment by mail though.
Guess what? This year I received (on my birthday!) a correspondence with
"Update Your Information And Mail" requesting my phone number and confirmation of my address.
Now they what to harass me by phone too! :)
These people have no shame!

I cannot say enough positive about the Neptune Society, based in Sherman Oaks. Even though my parents had made their final arrangements with the Neptune Society years ago through the Orange County branch, Wendy at the Sherman Oaks branch got all the arrangements pulled together and made every step of the process simple. The day my dad passed, they came out and could not have been more kind, considerate of all our feelings (there were several people there), respectful and professional. We knew my father was in the process of passing and thought it made sense to use Neptune as our cremation and funeral provider. Our salesman, Mr Fleming told me that Neptune was highly rated by Veteran Service Organizations. Mr Fleming assured me that my father's body would be properly handled, an urn would be supplied, we would have a veteran's service at Val Halla and my elderly mother would be assisted with the cumbersome VA widow's paperwork... all for one price. Mr Fleming advised me on where to initial and sign through DocuSign

My experience with Neptune was AWEFUL! Although my family had used them years before, when I called for information while my father was passing away, the guy that answered was a used car salesman and spent more time telling me about how other vendors would leave my dad's body in a freezer for days and charge me for it then even pretending to care about my loss. Not to mentioned they were 4x the price of the place we chose. But to add insult to injury, we just received a survey addressed to my dead father 6 months later about how we enjoyed the service we never used. Don't use this place

Purchasing the Travel Protection Plan has assured that wherever I die around the globe, cremation will be carried out and ashes returned to my children.
Staff are compassionate and knowledgeable and take the time to go the extra mile. Updating records, a lot of information needed updating and new cards obtained. This was done with the new cards being mailed to me in Australia and to my children, now
