Where is Strada? We are located at 108 Main Street in the heart of downtown Northampton. We are across the street from Urban Outfitters, near CVS and Caldwell Bankers Real Estate. Where are your shoes made? Our collection of footwear is hand finished in the U.S., Portugal, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Spain, Israel, Mexico and the Netherlands.

Many of our brands are handcrafted by 2nd and 3rd generations in their original factories. What is European comfort? Strada features cutting edge to classic styles for work and play, all carefully selected for their attention to detail, quality and comfort. Many of our styles are adjustable and orthotic friendly.
Services
Strada boasts a careful edit of fashionable comfort footwear, apparel and gifts in a light, airy space with hardwood floors awash in sunlight and scents of leather and linen. Customers from around the world appreciate our "big city" collection and "small store" service. Let us know what catches your eye, or describe what you need so that we can offer suggestions.
Since 1994 we've believed in the importance of a solid foundation, in both footwear and in life. Our mission, to make people feel confident and comfortable, includes donating footwear to people in need. There are few feelings as good as helping a less fortunate person experience the happiness of putting on a new pair of shoes.
Convert women's US sizing to Euro Sizing by adding 31 to your US shoe size. For example, if you wear a women's US size 8 shoe then size 39 is likely your Euro size. Convert men's US sizing to Euro Sizing by adding 34 to your US shoe size. For example, if you wear a men's US size 10 shoe then size 44 is likely your Euro size.

I called Anna looking for a specific pair of boots. Based on our conversation she recommended another style but with the same features I was looking for. Once I got to the store the boots worked so well I bought a second pair. Anna knows her inventory and her clients' needs and is such a pleasant person to work with. I will definitely return in the spring.

Over the past 4-5 years I've purchased shoes from STRADA and have always been very satisfied with the quality and styles of their shoes and boots. Normally, i have in mind whether i want to purchase a pair of shoes or boots, but this one man seems to always know what styles are appropriate for me and assist me in making excellent choices from their selection of of footwear. As i have commented to him that he "Really knows shoes" - and that 's a great plus for STRADA Shoes.

I never think of myself as a person who likes shoes, so after shopping at Strada I was very surprised to discover that I'm actually a person who loves shoes. Strada only sells high quality shoes...nothing the stores carries is junk that you'll end up throwing away in a year or two. That said, the prices are fair. Most importantly, the staff are professionals who will give you their honest assessment of whether a particular shoe or brand is right for your needs--but there's no pressure to buy. They are there if you want to work with them, but they are not in the least pushy. It's a very pleasant

Total garbage store run by garbage manager and unprofessional employees. Wanted to purchase a pair of Wolkys, they didn't have my size, refused to order me a pair to the store and refused to let me know the name of style so that I don't find it online. GUESS WHAT I found it at half the price online and bought it anyway. You just lost business. Disgusting.

William is amazing and his store has an incredible selection of unique comfortable shoes that you won't find just anywhere. Upon wearing my new Bed Stu sandals one time a seam came loose. I called William and he told me he'd fix them up for me at no cost. I dropped them at the store and within 10 days my repaired sandals were shipped to me in Los Angeles at no cost! Talk about phenomenal customer service! I definitely recommend you check out his shop!!

Terrific experience. Great selection of quality boots - and I found the perfect pair. The woman who helped in the search was knowledgeable, patient, and truly engaged in helping me find what I was looking for. I'll be shopping there from now on.

Strada Shoes has some of the most rude and obnoxious sales personnel I have ever encountered. In the Northampton area just mentioning Strada typically gets a response, " they're so mean and unhelpful there." I've stopped going there.
I used to spend $300-$400 there at a time. They do not stand behind what they sell. The last time I bought a $125 pair of sandals there, that within one week needed some re-glueing, they told me to go to the local shoe repair shop. I re-glued them myself. That was the last straw. Zanna in Amherst is a MUCH better option. Same shoes, much

Just know if you buy shoes there they only offer a 6 month guarantee even if the manufacturer offers 1 year. My $118 Rieker shoes already have a hole in them (more than 6 months, but less than a year old) and I'm SOL because Rieker will only allow the shoe store to send back the shoes and the shoe stores says tough s**t. The United Corporations of America wants your money, but refuses to offer customer service. Will NEVER buy from them again in spite of loving these shoes.

This store is the only store in the valley that carries certain brands -- i.e. Born, Reiker, Pikolinos, Beautifeel, etc. The girls that work there are VERY nice, helpful, and not pushy -- which I appreciate. However, the owner/manager fellow is so unpleasant, and is missing the very basic customer service approach of advocating for the customer. On several occasions, I have been interested in a shoe but they do not have my size in stock. The girl helping me asked him if they could order it in my size for the store so I could try it on and he vigorously shook his head "no." She apologized

Stopped in during the sidewalk sale. Staff was completely invisible. Go ahead and try to figure out who works here. Went inside to ask for help and found a guy running around, huffing and trying to look busy. After watching him for a minute, I realized he wan't actually busy with anything, just trying to look it so that he didn't have to wait on anybody. Finally interrupted his "fluttering about" to ask a question which he looked inconvenienced to answer. Not once did he ask if he could get me the match to either of the shoes in my hand. He briefly answered my question

Great selection of stylish high quality European shoes, styles you dont find elsewhere. Last winter bought a sick pair of Reiker boots and after wearing them for a few months had zipper problems. Since I'd paid a lot for them I contacted the store to see about replacing them. Though my issue was not addressed right away, eventually they replaced them! Though that's the right thing to do, it rarely happens unless they are broken when you buy them. I go out of my way to stop in there when I'm in town though I live in NYC now.

Pretentious staff, frankly terrible prices. They think they have an exclusive selection, but they don't. Don't waste your time, there are way better places to go for shoes.

In a friendly town, but not so friendly service. Better off checking out the Mountain Goat or Deals 'N Steals for clogs and such.
