Capitol Solar Energy Company has been a Colorado leader in Solar thermal since 1982. Capitol Solar Energy designs, and installs the most efficient solar thermal systems in the country. Our systems offer excellent payback, reducing the monthly cost of operating a home or building while preserving Colorado's environment, making ecology rhyme with economy.
The starting point for using solar thermal energy is to heat domestic hot water, as it is used year-round. Solar panels are usually mounted on the roof while a small storage tank is installed in the basement. Other options exist if necessary or desirable. Usually 2 to 4 panels and 80 to 160 gallons of stored hot water compose a system.

Capitol Solar Energy installed a domestic solar hot water system in our house and we have been very happy with the installation, the performance of the system and the maintenance that the team has done since then. Not only Laurent and his team pay attention to details, but they also try to find the best solution for their client (affordable, long-lasting) every step of the way. I would definitely recommend them!

Terrible customer experience. They came out and took off the panels immediately so the roofing contractor could get his money, but they took 3+ months to come back and finish the job, which cost me $170/mo. Then they had the audacity to call and complain because they weren't paid immediately, even though it was their workers that didn't pick up the check we left under the mat for them. I do not recommend this contractor and will not be doing business with them in the future.
Edit: Owner was extremely rude to my wife and demanded full payment before the solar panels were reinstalled on our house

Capital Solar has worked on a number of jobs for me. The owner's are delighted with the quality of the product and I, as general contractor really appreciated their attention to detail and their working with me on the schedule. They arranged to have the home heated during construction which was a huge help to us. I recommend them highly!
