Dr. Fine is a native to South Carolina, being born and raised in Charleston. He attended Charleston Southern University where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology and was on the Academic Dean's list. He received his dental degree in 2008 from MUSC College of Dental Medicine, where he excelled and was the proud recipient of several scholarships for academic achievement as well as ethical and moral character.
At Fine Periodontics, we provide a wide variety of both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments in Greenville and Anderson, South Carolina. Dr. Norman B. Fine will perform conservative procedures that meet your family's needs in healing your gum tissue and improving the appearance of your smile.
Our team at Fine Periodontics knows that in order to keep your teeth in your mouth, you must maintain the health of the gum tissues that support them. Having healthy, pink gums surrounding your teeth improves your appearance, helping you to feel happier and more confident. However, when your gum tissue becomes infected with periodontal disease (also known as gum disease), then your gums can recede, swell, and become red.
ARESTIN (minocycline hydrochloride) is a type of antibiotic that our periodontist uses to kill the bacteria that cause the inflammatory infection of gum disease. We can apply ARESTIN under your gum line after performing a scaling and root planing procedure. Dr. Norman B. Fine places ARESTIN right at the source of periodontal infection in order to improve the effectiveness of procedures like scaling and root planing.

The staff is AMAZING, the office if very warm and inviting. Dr. Fine is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I am so elated that I waited to find the perfect person for my dental needs.
