The German Deli & Jagerstuble is located in Largo, Florida close to the city of Clearwater. Family owned and operated, we take great pride in creating an inviting atmosphere for our visitors to enjoy. Everyone who works at the German Deli can speak English and German, so you are welcome to use which ever language you are comfortable with.
Out food is either imported directly from Germany or made fresh daily in German tradition. Our roots in Germany are in the beautiful Swabian Alb. This is where Anja learned the butcher trade. In 1999 our family came to the Tampa Bay Area, and took over the German Deli. The Deli started in 1980, and we are proud to say, 36 years later, we have grown our little family business into a Deli, Grocery and Restaurant.

Services
Swaian noodles with cheese and roasted onions baked in the oven, served with a mixed salad. White Bratwurst panfried and cut in peices, topped with our special curry sauce, tomato ketchup and curry powder. Served on a roll. Schnitzel Vienna Style with vegtable of the day and gravy, plus your choice of one side Spaetzle, Potato Salad or French frieds.

I had #24 and it was fabulous! It came with a wonderful side salad. The entree had 2 large pretzel dumplings in a scrumptious Bavarian mushroom ragout. Portions are very generous. I couldn't finish my meal, so got to take some home. For dessert I had apple strudel with everything. Heaven. The service was great. I'll definitely be back. Be sure to stop by the German deli right next door.

We called in to place an order for carryout based on recommendations from close family members. What a treat! Authentic and genuine German cuisine prepared better than I've ever experienced previously. I was greeted at the door and I felt appreciated and welcomed by the staff and management (possibly the owners, I'm not certain as it was my first visit). My wife and I ordered two different meals and both of us found the dishes remarkable. There was more food than we could eat so we're both looking forward to lunch today! We will be back! I would rate this restaurant 6 stars if I could.

Wow! This was an amazing dining experience!
The authentic German cuisine here is unparalleled anywhere. The lentils and schnitzel were old world delicious. The cold cut platter was just right as a starter. We also had a chicken fried steak covered in gravy dish that was amazing. The purple cabbage and dark gravy also was spectacular and unique. The service was wonderful and this is a place that you should visit if you're in the St Petersburg area. It's probably a little secret so don't go spreading the word too much just bring friends and family lol jk

This place is wonderful and authentic. The staff is very kind and you can tell they work very hard to make sure your food is made perfectly to order, even if it takes a little longer. The food was delicious.
The only thing that hindered our experience was that there was a large group sitting adjacent to us that was absolutely miserable. They were a much larger party, and even though we were seated after them, we were ready to order first and therefore our food arrived first.
