Ken's PC Repair is a local, family run, computer repair service. We offer computer repair services for the casual user all the way up to medium sized businesses. At Ken's PC Repair we take the time to answer your questions, and find the right solutions for your situation. At Ken's PC Repair our average turnaround time is 2-3 days. Because all computer repairs and data recovery are done in house by us, we do not have to ship your device across the country to get repaired. Stop in with your device during normal business hours and let us help you get back up and running!
Services
We don't just remove the virus. First we test the hard drive, memory, and processor. We don't want to waste your time and money on a virus removal if you have an underlining hardware problem. Once these are done we remove the malware and repair the damage they did. Finally, we update all your critical software to keep your system safe on the internet.
The last thing you want to do at this point is let someone attempt to recover your data without the proper equipment. We see plenty of hard drives that were opened up by other shops, or the brother-in-law that knows about computers. You can easily cause permanent damage, rendering your hard drive unrecoverable.
Remote support allows us to login to your computer, over the internet, with special software. We can then diagnose and resolve your computer problems. We are able to move the mouse, and use the keyboard, as if we were actually in front of your computer. This allows us to easily solve many computer problems in a short amount of time.
If we recover less that 99% of your data we will provide a listing of what we recovered for you to review before invoicing. If your external hard drive has a secondary PCB that converts it to USB please be sure to include it with your hard drive. If your hard drive has been opened there will be a non-refundable, up front fee of $99.99.

Brought in two PC's that needed their cooling systems redone. One was an emergency due to me making a critical and dumb mistake. One also had BIOs issues which I couldn't solve. Honestly I was nervous looking for a local repair shop that could deal with high end hardware. I'm really happy I chose Ken's PC repair. I enjoyed working with him, he was very knowledgeable, much more than I, and the turn around on the repairs was very fast at a very reasonable cost. A+++. I found Ken’s repair when I had to quickly get a new computer for work and I lacked the time to build one myself.
I bought one from Best Buy and issues arose. Ultimately Best Buy refused to fix it and I lacked the needed time to troubleshoot and figure out the issue myself. That’s where Ken’s repair comes in.
They immediately took it, diagnosed it, refuted the stated reason why Best Buy customer care refused to service it, and they sat down with me and looked at parts that could be replaced to make the PC perform better. within a few days(I remember it being relatively quick) they received

I had tried the Geek Squad earlier just because I had heard of them. I spent 40 minutes in a chat session only for them to tell me I had to go online and schedule a time to bring it in. I decided to see if there was a local independent and found Ken's via a google search. I dropped off my PC at Ken's an hour later and within 30 minutes I had a text that it was ready! And the price was better than expected. The whole experience was professional and friendly. I rarely have my expectations met, Ken's exceeded mine and has earned a loyal customer.

I didn't actually use Ken's PC Repair services, but I called them for advice/a quote. I asked them a ton of questions, explained my problem, and they responded kindly and were very understanding. They talked me through my options, and told me about a possibility for recovery that I hadn't thought to try. I ended up trying the recovery option they suggested at home, and it worked! These great people are legit, they know their stuff, and without them, I'd be rebuilding a database that took me months to create. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We had an external hard drive crash, and overall the service was excellent. He walked me through the steps which took a few days to recover the data. The price was high (over $400) but he let me know that ahead of time, unfortunately I just wasn't in a position where I had another option but pay the recover the data. The drive was 2T and less than half full.
He was very knowledgeable, and friendly, overall a pleasant experience.

I have gone to Ken's three times and this last time was after my laptop was hacked! He did a great job of making sure it was safe to use and also educated me on things to avoid! The service is great and the staff is so helpful even with a non-technical person like me! And when I was told to NEVER allow anyone on-line access he explains why!

I have also used Ken's to add updates for my laptop! I highly recommend them!

Wow, I never give 5 stars, but Ken's is 100 percent a 5 star company. From the initial contact, to the drop off, to the communication from estimate, throughout the repairs. Highly recommend Ken! Brought in a windows crashed pc the day before Christmas, I was in town just for the holiday. He was not only direct and honest, but also reassuring that he would have an answer for me by end of day. While the outcome wasn't ideal, his professionalism and incredible customer service made the experience pleasant. He had an answer by lunch and he was able to retrieve my data and give me options to move forward. All said and done by close of business on Dec 23rd. OK...so I was in Omaha for less than a week when the screen on my Surface Pro 4 bulged open in one corner from a bad battery. I ordered and had overnight-ed a battery replacement, took the screen off and started to dismantle to remove the old battery but quickly decided this job was too complex for me. Called Ken and he said, "bring it on over". Ken installed the battery and fixed my Surface Pro. What great and honest service I received and I would not hesitate to send anyone to Ken....yes "Woohoo! As good as it gets!

I had a broken flash drive with a majority of important work files on it. After taking to Schrock, I was quoted at "at least $400" to fix and it would have to be sent off for repair. I checked around for an alternative business and found Ken. The small business was busy that day, but he was super friendly, explained what he was going to do, gave me a quote, and a timeline of one day! Ken was able to fix my flash drive for under $100 and I could pick it up the following day. I am very grateful for his work and recommend him to anyone.

Ken is a great guy! I dropped off computer parts with him to build a new system on a friday, he said it would be ready in two to three days for pick up. Ken called early Saturday morning and said my new computer was ready to be picked up. He even left it set up on his bench so we could see it preform before I left the shop. If I ever have any computer problems I'll be going back to him.
