UPDATE: things didn’t work out with Petersen Farms. They weren’t able to take care of my grandpa’s catheter. We talked with Admin many times and their solution was to send a YouTube video out to the aides. As far as I’m aware, there wasn’t any test of knowledge or verification the sides actually watched it. Several times my grandpa woke up soaking wet in urine. Humiliating and devastating for a proud man who has no memory problems.
Also the showers weren’t very thorough.

We moved my grandmother into Petersen farms back in winter of 2019 due to a sudden and severe onset of Alzheimer’s disease. Myself and my family have nothing but good things to say about this facility and it’s staff. They treated my grandma with absolute compassion and kindness, and provided her with a top tier level of care. Every time we went to visit, the staff was always friendly and very attentive, but most importantly grandma was always clean and happy. Her room was always well kept and clean as well. They were great about notifying us when she was in need of anything.

Residents here are EXTREMELY neglected. Any form of neglect is NOT acceptable. Period. Very unprofessional building full of incompetent highschoolers who don’t even have the correct training to perform safely. Residents have been double dosed, left without showers for weeks, and that’s not even the beginning of it. I HIGHLY recommend not to even consider this place. Nothing but a joke. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS!!!!

My father is here and getting great care. The staff are very helpful and friendly every time we are here. The rates are the best we could find. Dad loves his room and he feels very well fed all the time. He says he feels well and he looks better since he has been here. Our family has loved having him here.

This is the place to bring your loved one when it’s time for assisted living. Brent is absolutely amazing as is the entire staff! The care and attention they gave to me and my family thru a particularly trying time made us feel like we were family. They care about each resident and strive to make it just like home for each one of them. The food is fantastic and the attention shown by the CNA’s was of the highest quality. I give them my absolutely highest recommendation!
