Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences as a Valedictorian at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry. While receiving her dental education, she was involved in dental research and was an active leader in various dental organizations.
Complete dental care focuses on the health of the whole masticatory system. Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt is a graduate of the Dawson Academy and focuses on Complete Dental Care. This involves performing a comprehensive dental examination where she evalutes every aspect of the oral health and smile of the patient.
When teeth have been damaged due to cavities, fractures or cracks, there are multiple choices of materials that can be considered to restore it. You will have the opportunity to understand what treatments and materials are best for you after a thorough evaluation and consultation with Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt.
Dental crowns, or "dental caps" are indicated when a tooth has large decay, is fractured, after root canal therapy, is cracked or to improve esthetics. You may need a crown to cover a tooth to help restore it to its normal shape and size. A crown can make your tooth stronger and improve its appearance.
If you are missing some teeth, Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt may recommend a dental bridge. When people are missing teeth, they are missing the comfort and function that they deserve. A bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth and literally "bridges" the gap where one or more teeth used to be. Bridges can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials and are attached to surrounding teeth for support.

During my last visit, I was able to browse through Dr. Cruz-Orcutt's beautiful photo books, while waiting for my name to be called. The rich colors and the fine beauty of "all things great and small," caused me to stop and consider the person behind the camera who took these fabulous pictures. The yellow and green striped caterpillar was quite familiar as he had been a visitor in my own garden this past summer... but it was the book of snowflakes that spoke to me without any written words. That same patience, precision and eye for details are the same generous qualities she uses when she attends

Dr. Cruz just completed my dental implant and I couldn't be happier with the result. The staff at Mint Springs Dentistry provided wonderful services when I was in need of a crown. The doctor was very competent and professional while both she and her assistant were always concerned with my comfort level. I was impressed with how the procedure was handled. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt and everyone on staff with Mint Springs are always informative, professional, friendly and quick to call you by name. As a family we have had an array of services ranging from general check ups, fillings, crowns and implants and have always been happy with the results. We have appreciated the staff taking care of insurance claims and their willingness to follow up if needed , as well as the ease of making appointments and receiving appointment reminder notices. Overall we would recommend Mint Springs Dentistry.
