Our location is at the intersection of University and Raymond Ave. Easy parking behind the building in the lot at street level. Although the parking lot says permit parking only, all Broecker Eye and Optical patients may use it. Enter the building directly from the lot and take the elevator to the second floor.

We inform our SAINT PAUL patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment.
As a licensed optometrist, Dr. BROECKER provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. BROECKER is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. BROECKER is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.

I've been seeing Dr. Broecker for optometry since 2013. As someone with many eye issues, I'm very particular with who I will place my trust in eye care with. Dr. Broecker is very professional, knowledgeable, and is very thorough with her complete eye examination.
Sara, who runs everything else in the practice, is very service oriented and spectacular at helping you choose eyewear.
If you want "cheap", go to a stripmall chain optometrist. If you desire an expert in the field, a thorough examination, and quality eyewear, Dr. Broecker is the professional to see.

Terrible Service from a rude doctor. I just went there to get contact lenses and she answered my questions in a way an angry teacher would talk to 1st graders, finishing her sentence with "do you understand?!".
Then, for my follow up appointment, she canceled the appointment without letting me know!!! So I went all the way there to see closed doors. They called me the day after to reschedule, and didn't even apologize!
Will never go back.

Always courteous and professional. Dr. Broeker is very patient and is the only eye doctor who ever made any suggestion for correcting my red-green color vision issue. Other places like a department store office may not have the same doctor across multiple years of return visits (I dealt with that in the past), but at Broeker Eye & Optical I know what I can continue to expect and receive quality care. I also choose to pay cash for the exam, lenses, and frames, which I am uncertain would be possible elsewhere as I have no insurance to cover it. I have been a patient of Dr. Broeker for three years

There are only five stars but I give them a TEN STAR if possible! Best eye doctor I have ever been to! Dr. Broecker is caring, thorough, consultative and is so knowledgeable. She helped me when I had an eye issue and recommended some great surgeons. After the surgery, she followed up to ensure that everything went well and got me in for a follow-up/after surgery visit. BEST EYE DOCTOR EVER!

Horrible service, lack of knowledge and very poor management. Been going there for 5 years, but it has gone down hill the last 2 years.
They used to have 2 doctors, now only one, every time you go, plan on they being behind at LEAST 45 minutes...EVERY TIME! In addition, they never ordered my glasses, then when I got them they were the wrong ones. Annie, (order/fitting person) who has a background in fashion, has no clue about customer service or management. when I did get my glasses, no case, cloth, just stuffed in a plastic bag. Broecker NEVER gets involved, let's Annie do all the customer service

Nice Experience. Dr. Broecker and her team demonstrated a high level of professionalism and competency. I have had troubling issues with my eyes for several months (computer reading, fine prints and dry eye).... Apparently allergies have played a large role in my case especially with the unusual summer we have had. Anyway Dr. Broecker made several suggestions all of which have led to significant improvements to my eye sight.

I would generally recommend that people shop for glasses and doctors seperately. I went to Broecker ' s office strictly for an eye exam and was very happy. Dr. Swenson did a good and thorough job and was patient in answering all my silly questions.
Just today I called them to get a copy of my prescription and they got it to me right away.
I'm very happy and will go back there for my next exam.
The staff was all friendly and helpful.
