House of Blades has been in business for over 40 years. B.C. Adams started selling knives which sprang from his love of collecting. By 2000, the store had outgrown its 2500 square foot building, so the larger 5000 square foot log cabin was built to house the now gigantic inventory. I have been buying knives and other items at HoB for many years. Each time I have been in, I have been treated extremely courteously. Today, I was helped by Maygan (I hope I got the spelling right), who was very helpful, not at all “salesmany,” and knew a surprising amount about knives. I don’t say that because she is a woman but rather because there are so many knives in the store, it was surprising that she could possibly know about the several knives I asked her about. It was almost as though she had just read up on them. Impressive. She helped me with pocket knives, chef knives, and flashlights

I have been going here for over 10 years and they have always had the best knives and products. I've always had engraving done and it always looks amazing. I went in recently to get a birthday gift for my Dad and brother and Jake did a awesome job helping us. They loved there gifts. Thank y'all so much keep up the great work.

Terrible customer service, bought couple of stuff stood up in front of the cashier for 10 minutes alongside with her Manager no one asked why I was standing there waiting, she keeps staring at me finally asking me if I was ready to check out??? Are you freaking serious???? I told her what do you think I was STANDING here for??? We will NEVER coming back !!! Horrible employee and management!!!!

If you love knives. You will love this place. An amazing selection of knives. Worth the stop! Great staff, they very helpful and patient with my son trying to pick out a pocket knife.
Called them the next day because we had a problem (one on the Chicago screws were missing on the butterfly knife trainer that my son picked out.
Refunded my card while I was on the phone. Great customer service!

Very nice knife store. They had Cold Steel so I was pumped! I had to buy several pieces. The store was low on inventory but that was expected. It was clean and organized. Many other things besides knives, cups, kitchen ware, axes, swords, sharpening stones, etc. I like the log cabin look. Not bad prices here either.

Love Love This Place!! I needed a Special Engraved Yeti... not only did they have a huge selection to choose from, my custom engraving was finished within the hour.
Can not Recommend House Of Blades enough!

I really like the house of blades. Decades ago, I purchased a set of kitchen knives and still I am able to take them in and get a free professional sharping. What a Deal! Last week, I took the kitchen set, several pocket knives, some scissors to get sharpened. Completed the same day, and the price... less than $10.00. Whenever, I am in the area, I love to just go and look. The beautiful knives, and I always find something out of the ordinary I did not even know I needed. And a great supply of YETI products.

I travel every year from California to visit my family here in Ft Worth and always make it a point to go to House of Blades. Every knife I own I bought from them. The employees are great, helping, and ready to answer any questions I had. I just bought me a Zero Tolerance 0920 with the 20CV blade and I absolutely love it! I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Kenny (the owner) for literally taking the hat off of his head and giving it to me when I mentioned that I wanted the hat he was wearing that they were out of stock on!!! I took our set (7) of Miyabi knives here to get sharpened today. I figured it'd cost me $75-100 to get all of them back to new and was so pleasantly surprised to see a $22 bill. WOW! Service was great. And they're super sharp. They even gave me a call to tell me they were ready for pick up. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!!

Some really cool stuff! Just browse around and relax. Look around find items you like, maybe even take pics. Then I suggest if you have the patience order offline. This place is pretty pricey. About 25-30% more than online. But hey they gotta run that ice cold AC.
Totally worth stopping by and if you can't wait for a online order, they will treat ya right.

The whole staff was extremely helpful and generous with there time and my special request! I came in expecting one thing but truly had a stunning time with the quality of customer service they provided... I didn't know the name of or the product type, so they listen and walked me right to it and showed multiple types. It was no pushy sale person, just people who cared to listen to your wants and needs, while providing that level off service your not used to getting or evening hoping for in today's fast past world.

Stopped in here for a last minute Christmas gift for my daughter. I got a very nice pocket knife and then found an even nicer one for my husband. The inventory is dizzying and the staff is very patient and accommodating. They have free sharpening for your purchases and carry good quality items. They also have a nice selection of kitchen knives and cookware. These folks know their stuff and there is no pressure. Being a woman unfamiliar with brands and quality, I never felt that I was condescended to.

Decent selection and nice staff. Matched their internet pricing which is competitive to other online retailers. I would rather spend a couple extra bucks and support the knife community than save a bit and purchase online. I like to hold the knives and check for blade play, test the detents and overall build quality. Love going into an actual local owned business to be able to talk to people about this hobby. I'll gladly pay a few more bucks if I can get it here.
