Mohs surgery is a specific type of skin cancer removal procedure named after Dr. Frederick Mohs who developed the technique in the 1930s. With this technique, specially-trained dermatologists remove skin cancers one layer at a time, ensuring all the cancer has been completely removed prior to reconstruction while also removing the least amount of non-cancerous tissue possible.

Dr. Ma has been wonderful throughout multiple visits with my child for procedures, follow ups, lab reviews, etc. I appreciate her thorough and concise interactions. She answers all questions and we do not have to spend a large amount of time dedicated to these visits. Recently, Randi and Angelica went above and beyond in helping update an order which was invaluable at the time. I can’t find fault in any aspect of this office’s medical care or customer service.

Had an appointment today 2/11/2020, saw Dr. Ma she saw both my son and myself. She was very knowledgeable but incredibly quick spoken and hardly spent any time in the room. We both had areas removed and she was in and out in no time like she had better things to do. I dont think we will be going back.
Edit: 2/14/2020 Dr Ma called today with results all came out well and she did apologize for being so rushed. I appreciate her calling herself.

Pretty friendly but not exactly sure how thorough they are. They removed a pimple from my face for $100.00, telling me they found a suspicious spot, so they biopsied a pimple. Of course, that was the result of the biopsy. Been going to dermatologists for years and they could always tell the difference between a white head pimple and a mole or something suspicious. Makes me a little cautious. Do as we do, bounce between 2 different dermatologists, so if one misses something, the other likely won't.

On two separate occasions, incorrectly collected two separate nail samples, ordered same lab twice (same toe...double billing), refused to treat based on obvious infection and tests came back negative. This was a 3 month ordeal! So, ended up with NO diagnosis and a $600 bill. I could have had the issue cleared up by then. I did a little research and had some questions. Called her up and Dr. Z argued when questioned about how the nail was sampled (after I cited what research shows in reference to correct nailbed sample collection and the high false negative results of this TWICE repeated test).

Dr. Sarmast diagnosed my autoimmune disease correctly on my first visit, after primary care, wound care specialists, infectious disease specialists, and a multitude of healthcare professionals had misdiagnosed and mistreated it for months. She’s intelligent and compassionate, and she genuinely listens to me. I appreciate her care!

I transferred my care to this office from another because I wasn't getting satisfactory answers regarding my mohs surgery needed from the office I had do my biopsy. When I contacted this office, my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly by the appropriate staff members. The staff here is so professional and kind. Dr. Zeikus treats you as "her" patient, not just a number or a $ figure. I felt cared about in every encounter with this office, both on the telephone (and I had multiple calls with my questions and concerns) and in person. I truly believe the doctor wants the very best outcome
